Consoles are only more expensive in the long run if you are buying the system and games day one, brand new. I wait a year and get everything for half price. My ps4 will be $200 and all the games will be $35 dollars or less. I might have to wait and i'll only have the console for 8 years instead of 9 or 10 but it's no more expensive than pc will be over that time frame. People who buy consoles and games new are suckers. Plus, acting like game stores don't give console players good sale deals is ridiculous, you just have to look for them. A couple months ago Gamestop had a sale on used games, 4 for $10 and they were good games like Mass Effect 3, Farcry 3, Red Dead Redemption etc. It may have been last-gen stuff, but so are the sales you get from Steam.

I can't wait few days after one year I forget game existed. Yes used games. Steam have 33 - 50% sales literally on new games.
