Just wondering if Bioware foolishly stored ME2's endgame save data in the HDD's cache area like they did with ME1. I don't want a repeat performance of completely losing my character when ME3 comes out.
Is ME2's endgame file saved in 360cache like ME1's?

I don't think they really write it in the cache, I think the save is just flagged "hidden" as the only way I can see it is using the system blade/memory option and browse the HDD from there.
So you can't "copy" is like other saves.

Works perfectly fine. Move along.

No, the ME1 save file when you beat the game is stored in the cache area of the HDD, which is why people who have cleared the cache (i.e. run MAINTENANCE on the Memory tab of the system options) are not having their saves show up to import. Note that their original save files are still there (as mine are).
So no, it does not "work perfectly fine", thank you. And I want to know if ME2 stores its data in that same location so that I do not risk losing it.
