Hi to all, I'm in a team that is scripting a dragon age based Crusader Kings 2 ' mod . I've scripted the interacial breeding offspring and I had almost no problem using the wiki, the games and the forum:  Basically human + elf = Human with elf blooded trait,  dwarf + human  = halfdwarf ,  elf + dwarf = dwarf. The darkspawn can't reproduce and regarding the Qunari they have their marriage system scripted and the Qun assign to the follower of the Qun a partner of the same race.   Until here all okay, I had almost no problem, but the problem there are with 2th generation hybrids . An halfdwarf with an human would be halfdwarf or human ? An elf with an halfdwarf how would be ? etch etch. To find a solution to this problem I've checked out the nature, and here the thing get more complicated. Contrary to popular belief the capacity to do fertile son isn't linked to the species, at example the Beefalo is the hybrid of a Cattle (Bos taurus ) and an ameerican buffalo (Bison Bison) not only has different species (The cattle has Taurus species and the buffalo has Bison species) but has also different genus but they do fertile sons, but if we consider other hybrid like at example the classic  son between an Horse(Equus caballus) and a Donkey(equus asinus), they have the same genus (Equus) but different specie, and they do infertile male "son" with  female "daughter" occasionally fertile , regarding 2th generation if we take as example a Mule, if a female fertile mule is mated with an horse the offspring is always a pure horse, with the dna of an horse, but if mated with a donkey the offspring will be always a mule(occasionally fertile on female) (Regarding the Hinny the female can be occasionally fertile, but I've no other information about the offspring because the ADMS said then there is only one case of a female hinny then give a birth). But the nature is more complicated, we confronted until now animal then by their offspring give always a previous form, but if we see some felines the thing get more complicated. On 1800' and on first of 1900' there was the mode to mate different felines, so at example we can see a Tigon where only the female are fertile, if we mate a female tigon with a lion we can get another animal, the litigon then has female fertile offspring then can be mated with leon creating another type of animal. (For who want to know this "offsprings" can't be considered a species because the male has no sperm). So returning to the original question, someone know the offspring of 2th generation for current "race" on the game ? Can someone then work to the lore reply to this question please ?  At moment I've done then mating with a dwarf or half-dwarf produce offspring with no elf_blooded trait and then if an human mate with an half dwarf it produce half-dwarf son and if an elf mate with an half-dwarf it produce an half-dwarf (According to wiki the elf dna is basically ignored).
