I was playing last night and after 30 minutes i had a couple of encounters. They went well so well i was thinking maybe i better increase the difficulty from hard to Nightmare. So i go to the options page to change the difficulty and found i had been playing on the easy setting for the last 30 minutes Doh

So it was time to replay the last 30 minutes

So what was you Doh moment

When I looked at the clock after I first launched the game. I swear those 8 hours felt like 2. >.<

When I look up at the clock at it's 4:00am.

I agree with Voxr, time goes way too quickly!

AND, when I first started playing, setting my tactics badly so everything (incl. my team) kept being paralyzed... (Paralysis Explosion)

On my first playthrough I had a few:

- Putting heavy armor on my rogue

- Completely forgetting Leliana's existence because I never bothered to enter the tavern. "It's probably boring in there"

- Not hardening Alistair on a romanced and going-to-be King playthrough

- Forgetting Sten

Yeah, I didn't bother with Sten on my first playthrough, I remember thinking, after I did get Leliana, "Surely they wouldn't offer two companions so early on in the game"

I started a new game specifically to play on hard. Immediately after the introductory cut scene, I went into the options and made sure it was set to hard. The origin was fine with a bit of creative kiting, but I lived. Then I got to Ostagar, which was slightly easier than I though it would be, but again I lived. It continued on like this until I eventually got to the encounter with Flemeth over her grimoire for Morrigan, and I thought it was going to be an absolute nightmare. It took me a few tries, and then something made me want to check the difficulty. Somewhere in all of that traveling and killing... it had been reset to easy. And I shall now go hide in shame.

Thinking Orzammar (A Paragon of Her Kind) would be a good way to level up early in the game.
