Please Make 'Dragon Prop Set' Available For Those Who Don't Do MP

I love dragon age 1, 2 and inquisition, I've brought every single player content that's ever came out, even doing webpage stuff to unlock extra content, however there's one piece of single player content the 'Dragon Prop Set' that I cannot access unless I do Multiplayer and I refuse to do MP, but I really really want that set, please make it available to those like us who don't want to do Multiplayer, it's unfair locking it behind MP, and you guys promised you wouldn't do that with this game. I know it's just 'Cosmetics' as Mike Laidlaw described it in a twitter response, but it's cosmetics that I really want in my skyhold, and feel it's unfair that your locking it away from me like this. At least promise it'll be available to us single only players at a later date (ideally sooner rather than later).

Everything OP said.

Cosmetics are still content, after all.

I can't possibly agree more.

I would regard Skyhold trappings something that the single player fan would want above all. And since we spend a good amount of time slaying dragons in the single player.... yeah.

This is a dick move, and a complete betrayal of whatever SP/MP separation they've touted.

I agree with this but I highly doubt it'll happen.

Ideally, I'd love to have it linked to some dragon whacking accomplishment in SP, but I'll pay cold, hard cash for it if that's what it takes.  Happily pay, too.  But what I am not going to do is fire up MP to do it.  And unfortunately, as this is probably the only way to get any attention, I also won't be buying any other DLC until this is available without accessing MP.  That's gonna suck, because I always buy all the DLC, usually as soon as it is released.  Please, Bioware, don't make it suck for me :(

For the love of god, please don't even offer this.

The Spoils of the Avvar made me raise my eyebrows, and the Spoils of the Qunari made them roll right out of my skull. Even compared to their item packs in previous games (which I truly thought were worth the money), these are absurd. The Avvar items are so transparently cut out of the DLC that it's shameful to charge $5 for them. The utter lack of qunari schematics in the base game makes the qunari DLC even more disgraceful.

it's still better than story-related content, something like... let me think... the option to see a different ending!

At least with a cosmetic content I can still continue to not care, with story content they could also force me to cheat and edit my saves...

Cop out. It's still content that solely benefits a SP player, with no way of acquiring outside of MP. Even worse, this time around we don't even have a terrible app to grind though it.

What you care or don't care about is subjective. Still SP content locked behind MP participation.

Sucks for those players who don't have a gold or elite or whatever account on consoles. They're SOL even if they were willing to subject themselves to DAI's multiplayer.

I never said it doesn't suck. I was just saying that if they have to do it (and after ME3 breath scene we all knew they were going to do it again) it's still better that they do it with a cosmetic content instead of something more important.

Expect even worse things from ME:A...

I'm not convinced that those two things aren't equally egregious in a RPG, though.

But as I touched on - not everyone needs or wants to pay for an Xbox Live Gold account, or whatever the equivalent is for Playstation. Those players don't even have the option to get this - what are they supposed to do?

I've always thought offering single player rewards in a multiplayer format to be, honestly, a tad dumb. Most hardcore MP players don't care about SP enough to give a flying dwarf about these "rewards" and vice versa.

"At least it's just a punch in the nose rather than a kick in the groin" isn't exactly a good justification for this move.

Which makes the whole "Hey, it's free!" excuse pretty laughable.

Whatever I can say is there isn't a single way, they could ever get me to play MP, not in a whole life.

And I am a PC user, so for me MP would be at free price.

In my opinion the best answer we can give to them in such cases is to disregard them. Wanna give me a new piece of SP and the price is playing MP? No thanks, keep it to yourself.

Since there are plenty of chumps dropping real dollars on their loot boxes in MP, this is probably not gonna do anything.

I think the best way is to complain in this case.

Like someone has already pointed out most of MP players don't really care about SP and these "SP prizes". Therefore I suppose that their goal is to bring new player inside MP. Maybe that if they see that the amount of people who play MP won't increase they should stop such behaviors and leave SP and MP separate.

Maybe also I am a dreamer...

Have to agree. I'm a little puzzled as to why any sort of SP content is tied to MP. There should, at the very least, be a way for SP-only players to earn it by, say, doing that "Kill all 10 high dragons" achievement. Or you can play MP and get it quicker.

But the current set-up is weird, honestly.

And I say this as someone who is an avid MP player (and also has several SP playthroughs), so this doesn't affect me directly but I still think it's beyond weird.

To add, anyone wanting this and is willing to suffer one MP match for it, I'd be more than happy to carry you through the match required. I helped two people last night, which felt awesome, but they shouldn't have had to do that to begin with. If you're on PS4, feel free to hit me up. It's the best I can do to try and do right by the SP-only fans that I can directly touch. :)

I thought after ME3 and all the rage about MP influencing SP, BioWare would not present again the same formula.

Is way too lampant that they are tryng to bring more MP players. But this is not the way. This just ****** off those who don't have a psplus or xboxgold, or simply have no intention to play MP.

This reward should be For who killed all the dragons in SP.

Its pretty simple they are trying to get people playing MP, probably cause its not doing so well. As you say they could avoid the whole controversy by offering a similar reward for killing all the high dragons in SP, but I doubt they will.

To be honest I wouldn't think it would be fair for people who do multiplayer to kill only one dragon to get it and for single player folks to have to kill all 10, should instead be the reward for the war table mission the one you get after you kill your first dragon.

I'm pretty sure that the Spoils of the Qunari content is going to be everywhere in the upcoming story dlc.

And maybe even the dragon stuff too.

Even if it isn't fair, it's at least a SP path to getting SP content that is currently locked behind a MP wall.
