I have finished my melee adept insanity run few weeks ago and it was almost perfect (with all dlc).

I took all reputation bonus very fast, and certainly discussed carefully with TIM. But, alas, not as much as i thought, as i did nt have access to the 3rd and last persuade/charm option on the end scene with him and anderson.

 

I m curious at what point i have missed a dialogue option ?

 

I have done 2/3 SP runs, ( without any DLCs), and always had the opportunity of the last persuade/charm dialogue option...

 

Is there a thread discussing that in details?

For the last persuade check with TIM to be available you need to have used either a charm or intimidate with him on every previous occasion when one is available. People often miss the the charm/intimidate dialogue on Mars because instead of picking the initial left option they pick one of the right-side options. This is also possible on Thessia. So always choose the left-side option when available to open up more dialogue choices.

Another thing is if you click on the left to investigate, always choose paragon, upper left, for each encounter with TIM if you want him to shoot himself or choose renegade, bottom left, which will have you shoot him.

Whenever there is an [Investigate] option or some other dialogue option to the far left(this is meant to extend the conversations, and it is a must to be able to pick the last option during the confrontation with TIM), always choose it. That will prompt another dialogue wheel later giving you the option to charm or intimidate. It does not matter if you choose charm or intimidate. You can be as inconsistent with your charm and intimidate with TIM at any point in the game(including the confrontation).

Ok, so I m a bit lost again as i explore every single dialogue; Must have missed a charm/persuade choice at some point.
