It's one thing to have a satisfyingly hard difficulty.

It's another thing when you've alienated your playerbase so heavily that there is no one left on PSN who can even handle Nightmare without getting the entire party of highly promoted, skilled players wiped constantly.

I have absolutely NO incentive to play Nightmare when the Hakkon weapons are only a 1% drop rate and not affected by the loot drop buffs from previous patches.

There were plenty of great players. 6 to 9 months ago. Now they've all moved on from your poorly planned out multiplayer design.

Umm pretty sure the drop rates are the same for hakkon weapons on nightmare as dragon weapons on perilous.

No, Luke said it was 5% first day but they cut it back closer to 1%.

NO, read what he said, you and others have jumped to conclusions

It was supposed to be closer to 1% and higher odds of dragon weapons than perilous but the datapush for that got wiped on Monday so it's currently around 5%. I was planning on rectifying that on Friday but given the concerns in this thread I may come up with a better solution related to item level + whether you have one of the weapons yet.

Oh, that's much more clear than his post in the other thread.

Just solo your way to 600+ promotions so that you don't need other players!

I have ~90 of every stat and I'm telling you, the PS4 experience is awful at times. I try my best to enjoy it but I just can't take it anymore.

Inquisition is a "heartbreaker" for me

I did not attend their departure, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. There are lot of great player now, it isn't a monopoly.

It's a poor 'highly promoted skilled player' that blames his tools or his fellow pugs for 'dragging' him down.  www.yousuck.calm

Yeah ok, as if we're the illuminati or something.

Look man, my friends and I kick pugs occasonally but only when they are going out of their way to be useless, get us killed or do things like pull us before we loot a room.

If you're an intelligent player, you don't need good gear to play with the big dogs. It's not a monopoly at all.

You do realize what happens when a Legionnaire taunts the entire map, then runs right into the same spot as someone? It gets them killed. that's two people dead in an instant, all thanks to a foolish pug

When a Reaver is too stupid to kill the ice witches and take some aggro off the party?

When an Arcane Warrior darts to the other side of the map to kill one wraith?

Or maybe, just maybe, when every single pug is not ready for the difficulty they search for but they do it anyway for e-peen?

Then don't play Nightmare if you and your friends can't handle it. It's meant for skilled players, not the average pug. There's perilous for that.

I personally don't have high promotions, but teamplay / team composition is important. Playing with 4 archers isn't the way to go.

Everything I typed just went through one ear and out the other didn't it?

I have beaten at least a dozen nightmare runs so far, even the glitched one where the HP was insanely high in the first 24 hours or so.

I actually find it quite easy. If you can't understand that a shitty pug can wipe a party of 2 or even 3 competent players, then that right there tells me you have no idea what you're talking about.

If I play my Legionnaire I can carry an entire party of complete morons without much effort, even on Nightmare. Does that mean I constantly want to resort to Legionnaire, Arcane Warrior, or get screwed into being the only person who wants to run a warrior?

Hate to say it but after two days checking Nightmare (let alone Perilous), I haven't been able to find more than two other players.

I ended up deleting the game altogether because there's simply no one left (at least in the Midwest) to play with...

I have personally experimented with tons of builds on Perilous, mostly just for kicks. Sometimes I make a bad build that has horribly non-cohesive skills, but I can say that I have played a massive variety of team compositions on Perilous. I have less that 1/3 of the promotions of the OP.

However, on Nightmare and especially on Heartbreaker, planning and teamplay is actually important. It's a co-op game. Being upset that a game punishes the team when a player is not working with the team is frankly asinine. I will PuG up to Perilous and have fun, but I personally would not even open up one spot to a PuG on NM or HB with my stats unless they have a mic and use it. (No offense to you non-mic users)
