Are there enough competent players where if you add all the good pugs you find as friends, you can invite enough of them to get a full party? Are the pugs as horrible as on PS4?

It's literally a crap shoot to run Nightmare. We had three great players, but one pug and as hard as we tried, we couldn't get past door 4. I've managed to win quite a few of them but only when the pugs were arcane warriors, or semi-intelligent, not brain dead like the others.

If I can't manage to assemble a team to beat Heartbreaker soon, I'm going to have to quit Inquisition cold turkey.

Sucks because I can totally solo Heartbreaker with the Arcane Warrior no problem... but there's no incentive. Speaking of that I wish they would get rid of that class forever because it is even worse than it was before.

Pugging nightmare...not that great on PC. I ran with a friend last night and two randoms. Four fade outs by the end. If I weren't AW, it'd have been a lost cause since I largely soloed Zone 4. In that time, two left, two came in, got destroyed, and also left. A shame since we won eventually, but yeah.

There are tons of players on PC, but many of them farming Nightmare are doing so in their own private lobbies. To great success, from what I've heard. But yeah, the nightmare pugging scene leaves a lot to be desired.

Really? When you're done soloing heartbreaker as AW, Andromeda will be out. Sounds like incentive to me.

But dude... I swear I have added every single last competent player that remains on PS4 into my friends list. I have played the holy hell out of this game.

No good pugs are left. No good players actually play the game anymore. They've moved on, they got tired of it.

I haven't played much since patch 1.09 released, but the bugs "seem"  fewer, I got 1 CTDs out of 10 runs, a few disconnections but that was all.

NM and HB are mostly ghost town though, feels a little strange since the new difficulties were just added a few days ago, but considering the game's troubled history I'm not surprised.

Time zone is US west PST, I'm lucky to have run into a few BSNer in last few days ;).

I was going to raise my hand, then I saw the word 'competent'...I mean if you're gonna be picky  :P

I don't understand this post...you can solo it alone - here as an AW, the other thread as a Lego - but playing with other people gets you killed?  My inability to fathom this is no doubt tied to my inability to play the game competently.

Fading makes the enemies stronger, I guess is his beef.

Makes sense...since I'm usually the one watching from the green mists, I don't have to deal with that much lol

Thanks, Tex

Hmm ... if I could totally solo Heartbreaker I would possibly view this as "end game" status. And if I thought that all the good players had left the game, and if I thought that the game was bugged to hell, and if I thought that I was completely disappointed with the game ....

I would move on and leave the game.

Or, on second thoughts ... I could continually post negative posts and comments on the forum.

Of course there are enough competent players on the PC to form a full party. How else am I going to leech if the competent ones don't carry me? :P

Also, because we are the master PC race, we produce only the most adorable of premium PUGs. B)

Seriously though, if you can solo HB, you can solo NM. If you can solo, your elite skills can carry the "incompetents." (Just in case, the definition of "solo" is you can finish a run successfully by yourself, not just start a lobby on your own.)

Last night, our fourth left and the rest wanted to play a few more. We didn't feel like finding a new fourth for only a couple of games so we just 3-peopled it... and we completed each run just fine. If your PUG was supposedly "ruining" your run, just make the game private leave that spot blank?

It sounds like you were relying on your PUGs to do more than just carry their own weight and that, frankly, is a little unfair.

Its not THAT bad to pug on PS4.  For me I usually have to run as my elementalist or other barrier giving character if I want to see a chance of a successful run on perilous or above.
