For me it would be Richard Leroy Jenkins.
This guy is over enthusiastic to the extremes.
He finds joy in pretty much anything and always acts before thinking.
The thrill and exhilaration of combat seem to come before his own safety.
However what I love about him, is if I knew him in real life I think we'd get along just fine.
I mean it. He is so lively and upbeat. I'm lively and upbeat. We'd fill the room with OTT exuberance.
Sadly this guy died on the first mission as a punchline to an internet meme.
My Jenkins favourite moment has to be in Dr Chakwas anecdote.
Kaidan Alenko decides to show off his biotic abilities and knocks Jenkins over.
Jenkins somehow is uninjured and gets up yelling "That was awesome!"
This could have been a really fun character.
Hmm... yeah, I can see him ending as a somewhat fun character.
Aside from him?
Could have been interesting to actually work with Nihlus instead of him getting his brain aired at the start.
Aethyta definitely made me curious to know and see more of her.
Can't think of anyone else.
Aethyta
Eddie Lang - C-sec cop. He seemed like a decent guy. Was downstairs under the Med Clinic.
Mostly ME 1 characters.
Here are a few from other games.
ME 2, it would have to be Feron. He is from Shadow Broker DLC. Someone who Liara knows pretty well.
You don't get to know many Drell. So any of the Drell characters who isn't Thane. We got to know Thane really well.
In ME 3, Kahlee Sanders. Definitely. This is someone who seemed like she had a lot of potential. There are some reference to the books.
Kai Leng could have been interesting, but he was a bit too cartoon like. If they had toned down the whole "conspicuous tech ninja" approach and developed him as a character then we could have been onto a winner.
Capt. Matsuo. (Noveria me1)
Giana Parasini. (Noveria me1/Illium me2)
The female doctor at the exogeni facility. (me1 side-quest)
The turian with the soft-voice on the cassino. (Citadel DLC)
Mel from purgatory bar. (ME3)
The disgruntled biotic in citadel angry at the items she received from the multiplayer store. (Citadel DLC)
The funny woman in citadel talking to a vorcha about her bad experiences in multiplayer with a random incompetent team. (Citadel DLC)
I wish Shiala and Gianna Parasini had a role in ME3.
Admiral Xen. She was originally slated to have her own sidemission in ME3, but the options for dealing with it sucked, so I'm not really unhappy that it was axed.
Kal'Reegar should have at least had an ME3 cameo sometime much like Kirrahe got, instead of a goddamn email. Any quarian marines or other troopers during the Rannoch arc would have been nice, actually, considering the codex says they participated in the battles. Yet the missions themselves felt barren.
Gianna Parasini was awesome. A funny, likeable character, with a great voice actress to boot. Wish she popped up in the 3rd game, instead of popping off the face of the entire universe, it seems like.
Corporal Toombs would have been interesting if he made a comeback. His email in 2 didn't really go anywhere.
Helena Blake would've been nice to see more as well, especially considering she can potentially become an underboss at Omega working for Aria.
Kirrahe, definitely. He was a pretty badass Salarian but at least he did give one of the best speeches in the franchise. He was the second most badass Salarian I met, next to Mordin.
Additionally, Nihlus should have been more fleshed out. Would have been good to get to know him before his death, like he starts getting impressed with Shepard's abilities and you think he's going to put a good word in for you and THEN he gets pewed.
Kahlee Sanders (eh, she was Jon Grissom's daughter), Rahna, Talitha, Ashley's sisters, Oriana, Padok Wiks, the Combustion Manifold guy, Char
My dude.

Huge pic is necessary.
Nihlus and Reegar too.
Emily Wong - should have been on the ship in ME3 instead of Allers
Kal'Reegar - One mission with him in ME3 would have been great
Rana Thenoptis - Was hoping for one more cameo in ME3
The krogan engineer on Tuchanka - He was just cool
Dr. Chackwas - She already has a pretty extensive role but we actually never see her do her job. I would have liked at least one scene in the infirmary where she saves someone's live or something (maybe a squad mate/LI)
Hmm, I'd say Nihlus, barefaced turian in Citadel DLC, Xen, Reegar, Lizbeth Baynham, cook from ME2, Emily Wong, Tazzik from comics ![]()
the guy walking around the Normandy who saluted me when activated
no one's said it yet?
Refund guy
XO Presley from ME 1.
All I knew about him was that he was xenophobic.
It would have been nice to get to know what made him tick.
What were his interests?
How did he feel about Shepard's mission (aside from the apprehensions about letting aliens on board)?
On the Normandy he is an important guy.
That polite Krogan who worked for Thax. I want him on my squad. We can play good cop bad cop.
I thought the asari who gave us a ride to the Dantius towers would be fun to have a drink with.
Then there are the asari... Aside from crowd favorites like Aethyta, and Shiala, Tevos, and Shaira (I really think the ship needed a consort); there are those who subvert the dancers trope. These are the interesting, ethically challenged Asari.
Nassana Dantius, the murderous capitalist. Mentioned above. Now dead.
Wasea - Mentioned above. Loved her. Too bad she's dead.
That asari who was panicking about that stuff for Thax. I wonder what the hell that was about.
Jona Sederis - now here's another insane murderous asari. Put her on the squad. She knows how to handle a gun. And is a biotic. Just promise to help her rebuild her power base.
Captain Enyala - another no nonsense murderous asari member of the Eclipse sisters. Too bad she's dead.
Elnora - little Elnora, the murderous child who killed that ridiculous volus. She's dead too. Or not.
Rana Thanoptis - She would have made a great ship's scientist. Not afraid to experiment on anything. Would get the job done. Ethics? Shmethics. Being on the Normandy would have unindoctrinated her. Alas she died setting off a bomb.
Morinth in ME3. I think it could have been a really interesting plot twist with her instead of Samara on the Ardat-Yakshi side-quest.
The Rachni Queen.
There is so much story potential for her and the Rachni overall, but all of her appearances in the game amount to the same two choices (kill her or spare her) with absolutely no pay off.
