Can I ask why run heartbreaker over nightmare?  

 

Is that what the 25 dragon kill challenge is or is tracking just broken for that?

Luke has stated that it's just for the sake of the challenge. Dragon loot chances mirror Nightmare and any associated prestige challenges will be fixed soon.

 

Think of it as an end goal for some players and the only challenge left for the top 1% of the playerbase. All those promotions have trivialized the rest of the content.

So far on Playstation 4 I am at 897 Prestige and 49/109/106 stats   (234 promotes)

Enemies on HB uses all possible abilities, they are... interesting to play against.

I think having Brutes would be fun, as long as there are less Spellbinders. Mobility is already bad with all those mines, but having to dodge those while being chased down by Brutes would be a Nightmare.
