Amrita Adaar was meditating in the style of the Qun. As the child of ex-Qun hippies, she was always encouraged to speak her mind and be herself. In her rebellious teen years, she went as far against all that as possible, just to spite everyone. She tried to strip away her personality, conquer her fears and find inner order through prayer. It didn't work.

 

Amari Cadash was grounded for shaving her sister's head while she was sleeping. Aerys Trevelyan was grounded for torturing his sister's puppy to death.
