So I keep running into pugs where the host uses the infinite ammo mod on PC (usually while also ironically sporting a Best of the Best banner). 

 

I have nothing per se against mods, especially this late in the game's lifecycle. Love the Zombie Mod myself, and am seriously considering getting the Phantom DR mod for when I host. But if you want to stroke your epeen by modding your Harrier or your grenades in a public game, please pick a mod that doesn't mess up the other players' game, especially on Gold or Plat. The problem with this mod is that it glitches regularly and causes other players' weapons to turn into single shot weapons, needing reload after every shot, for up to 5-6 shots in a row. Thankfully had a Saber and then a Crusader equipped, where one shot is usually enough to get you out of trouble, but rushing a spawn to find your weapon glitched is not my idea of fun, just because some donut is too lazy to run to an ammo box. 

 

Please either host a private game, solo or warn the other players in the lobby that you have this mod equipped, or better yet, L2grenade/L2Harrier (!).

Now that you mention it, I bumped into SirDieALot in a Collector/Jade game earlier, and I'm pretty sure the host was using something like that (not SirDie).

 

My Wraith kept reloading one shot, I had no idea how many shots I had left until down to the last 2, and he was either excellent at reload-cancelling, or his multi shot Javelin (I counted 5 shots in a row at one time) was haxed.

Yes, I ran into a player with a modded Javelin as well which also caused my weapon to glitch. He was playing a Demolisher with the modded Javelin and infinite grenades. And the Best of the Best banner, lol.

Same here, people who mod PUBLIC GAMES are jerks.

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with modding a non-PVP game, but people should have the decency to do it privately.  I've run into the infinite ammo host about 3 times in the past week.

 

Also yesterday I kept getting this plat lobby where the guy must have had the weapons cranked to 99 b/c every enemy died in 1 shot.

I dropped into Husk Mode/Grenade defense lobbies a few times, and the hosts have always been "hey, just so you know, we've modded this for this mode".

 

Cheat modding without telling people is scumbaggery though, yeah.

I guess if they literally WAIT in lobbies until they get 4 people, that's great.  But I've never really seen happen.  It's usually a game already in progress, and making me blow my gear quitting the game.  It would also be nice if these people would switch the lobby to private after they get their 4 people.

The bottom feeders that run hacked public games usually never tell anyone about it, only once have I experienced a case where the host warned everyone that he was running husk mode before the game started, but most of the little nerds that bother with hacking the game files don't.

With Mod Manager and Mod Maker most people who use mods like that don't know much if anything about the underlying files. They don't even need to do anything its all done for them. So I wouldn't call the hacking files.

I've ran into fully auto javs and claymores a lot, sadly even at fully auto aim is still required and most pugs don't even manage to trivialize the game with such things. 

 

It's been ages since I've ran into one of those one hit kill modded lobbies. Last time I got a modded plat lobby it was just adding more goons to every wave which I have no complaints about, cuz hot.

Usually, I just leave and lose equipment, which I hate doing since equipment is precious to me on this account.  But lately, I've been trying to make the games take as long as possible.  I tried to play 'keep away' with the pizza.  So I got it and just walked away for as long as I could.  I did this on every objective wave.

Well just to be clear, as I mentioned it in a post above, I don't care that people run modded games.  I just hope you aren't doing it in public games w/o letting people know that you're running a modded game at the time.

im a old space wizard  and someone ask for god mode or other stuff that really made the game boring for me, the truth I dont judge anyone, but just dont mess other people games, I have done incidentally sometimes you know i remeber a volus with a black widows with a shotgun HVB and SMG weight casting bubble stasis and headshot everything and a girl start calling me hacker and other bad words with her cute voice (soy mexicano nena no me asusto con las malas palabras aca son los saludos y despedidas diarias jajajajaja) sorry for that girl but thats the space wizards  do it
