I... I kinda need this in my life now.
I never asked before because I was frankly scared. He claims "Varric taught him how to woo da ladies", which really worries me.
EDIT: It looks like Korbin went out of his way to twerk just for you!

Dude.
It's only 9:00am for me.
You have set the bar way, way too high for today. ![]()
I'm buying chests, and seeing 5 healing potions or Lyrium potions every time. I have 255 (likely 3000 or so) of each of those.
Is it not working? I don't have very many bees, regen or mist pots. Those I'd really like to have more of.
Same with me, seems I am getting almost exclusively healing and resistance potions I have maxed. Don't think the potion change is working.
If we have over 255 potions now (as I no doubt do), do we retain them or are they all going to reset to 255 as max?

You'll keep them. I basically just injected some logic that tells the loot table not to drop it if you have >= 255.
Thanks, Luke!
Seeing a lot of resistance potions that I have at 255.

From when Graham was talking about the torch spawn points, it sounded like he said that they were pretty static. I wonder if its the same with enemy spawn points if they cannot be added on the fly as they are pretty concrete in the level design. I assume that adding more varied spawn points would be more of a chore than we (as players) imagine.
Dragonracer: I couldn't find any military police twerking, but I found this:
I'm not sure if this is already a known issue, but I happened to pick up the dagger, Audacity, and I noticed that it won't let me slot a grip into it; even though I have three on me so far.

Audacity is a Dual-Bladed dagger (AOE), you need a Dual-Bladed grip to go with it. Work wonders!
Don't feel bad, we all made that mistake...

As a new player to DAIMP, I wanted to weigh in on the change in armor drops. It is my understanding that you can no longer get better armor than what you currently have as a drop, from any source. You have to craft them. (If I'm wrong about that, you can ignore the rest of this.)
Not allowing higher level armors to drop is a huge problem, primarily because cloth is so scarce. It would take months to accumulate enough cloth to craft the armor for the high-cost DLC characters alone, not to mention all the armors for the other 12. This puts new players at a huge disadvantage as compared to players who came into the game earlier, who were able to get those armors in chests, and could therefore progress to higher difficulties more easily.
This just feels really unfair, and I don't understand why Bioware would make it so difficult for new players to get into this game. I sincerely hope Bioware will consider how detrimental this change is to new players, and reverse its decision.

You can get 'blue' armor, which is better than the grey armor the classes start with. You just can't get purples (best tier) from chests.

Thanks for your response. Again, I could be wrong, but what you're saying has not been my experience. I've gotten no armor beyond variants of what I already had since the change, and Luke's original post says nothing about the change being limited to the "best tier." He specifically says you can't get "2nd tier" armor anymore, which sounds much broader than just purples.
Tier 2 is the purple stuff though, since that is currently the highest tier.
You have ;
basic starter gear
tier 1 (+colour variants)
Tier 2 (+colour variants) / Inquisitors (+colour variants) variants on the same tier.
You have been able to get Tier 2, and it's colour variants through chest drops before, but not Inquisitor+variants. How much of that has been changed I cannot say since I have most of those armour sets crafted already.
It's not that bad though, besides you can also get cloth drops etc. from ingame chests now, and there's the whole salvage mechanics now that will also give you alot of materials.
Plus, if you have alot of iron+hides, you can simply make armour attachments which you can then salvage for cloth. Works wonders.

I've gotten some blue armor all weekend.
Also as TormDK mentionend, you can craft staff upgrades that only use leather and / or metal, and destroy them for cloth.

That's good to know! Guess I'll have to be patient and hope for more armor to drop. Wow, this game is grindier than ME3MP ever was.
It doesn't take that long to get to a T2 variant if you are simply looking to get the highest armour rating on your favorite character.
Unless that character is either ZITHER! or the Arcane Warrior, in which case have fun grinding - the rest of us did ![]()

Give it a bit and you'll get sick of armor bieng the rare in your chest ![]()
Oh, hey, MP Twerks thread is back.
And to answer the new question, you can still get blue armor. I had not crafted all the armor types because I didn't want them all/didn't want inventory issues. And the other weekend, I got a blue Arcane Warrior armor from a chest.

That gif is nasty Dragonracer, yet I strangely feel hungry now.
