I've just noticed I've slipped by the 2000 hour mark of game time. When I think about it really, that approximates to 2 hours every day since I started, and might keep me up at night wondering what I'm doing with my life. So to stop thinking about it I decided to work out which kits I'd used the most based on the waves completed in the challenges, narrowing it down to a top ten. The results are amazingly surprising:

1.  Turian Sentinel: 1787 waves

2.  Turian Soldier 1716 waves

3.  Turian Havoc 1700 waves

4.  Turian Saboteur 1494 waves

5.  Turian Cabal 1321 waves

6.  Salarian Infiltrator 1059 waves

7.  Geth Engineer  928 waves

8.  Turian Ghost 920 waves

9.  Geth Infiltrator 822 waves

10.Asari Valkyrie 800 waves

I lied. That's not remotely surprising.

This is, of course, completely skewed by the number of times I've completed each challenge group- I suspect I'd have the collector adept in the top ten if I hadn't only completed outsider mastery a couple of times (I've completed his extractions for retaliation mastery 8 times).  There's also no vanilla kits so no vanilla adept in there either. I worked out Earth kits' waves by the extractions completed x10 as an estimate, although none of them were even close to the top ten.

How does your list look? Any surprises?

Dude, I really don't want to do the exact wave calculations for each eligible character.  Angers me that every single character does not have the 200 wave challenge point option, I am really curious about a few of them. .I have over 3,200 hours played. The results would make me sick. In that amount of time played, I could have become a doctor. i wish there were total waves for the Slayer.  he would probably be my most used character.

Multiple accounts so not going to bother with the precise math and will just calculate off of challenge completions

1) Quarian Female Infiltrator: ~5200 waves
2) Quarian Marksman Soldier: ~5000 waves
2) Quarian Female Engineer: ~5000 waves
4) Quarian Male Engineer: ~4600 waves
5) Quarian Male Infiltrator: ~4600 waves

The top 3 likely have far more than that since I generally complete their challenge before the arcnade bros while still playing them.

The next kit is probably the GI because I play it occasionally for the Proximity Mine challenge and thus have completed its challenge a couple times, then I'm not sure after that.

Obvs. Turian Sentinel and Soldier, they are tops at 600. Not very high, but my commando mastery also broke for the better part of a year and stopped recording waves or challenge completions. derpderp

Because of that, I think my stats are pretty meaningless

^^ What sucks is..after you complete the individual character wave challenge...the entire challenge category that character is in still keeps going until completion then reset's.....but if you go back and pick the character who's waves you have already completed before that challenge reset's...The waves won't count at all..Which really makes me mad. Whenever a challenge reset's and my favorite characters are in that category..those get finished 1st...but I always pick them to use again later on while the entire category is still active..soo How many waves have I really done with that character?  For example FQI say's 2,180 waves completed...I have used her wayyyyyy more than that.  If that category has guns / characters I never use then that category will remain open while I still use the character who's waves are completed.  Again..this leads to more anger.

1. Phoenix Adept - 1659 waves

2. Drell adept - 1600

3. Drell Infiltrator - 1600 (pretty sure >1200 of these are due to solos :P)

4. Geth engineer - 1600

5. Phoenix Vanguard - 1420

6. Geth Infiltrator - 1400 (again, ~1000 due to solos)

7. Salarian Infiltrator - 1200

8. Drell Vanguard - 1200

9. Awakened collector - 1138

10. Salarian Engineer - 1000

This is not a very good representation of my most played kits because the counter stops after 200 and doesn't update till I complete the corresponding gold challenge.

In reality, I think I have easily played over 2000 waves with the drell infiltrator and phoenix adept. I've done close to 600 waves with the infidrell in  just the past week!!

Based on my experience, my top3 will be Phoenix adept, drell infiltrator (mostly solos), phoenix vanguard.

Edit: Six Outsider mastery characters are in the top 10, which is not even remotely surprising considering that is my most completed gold level character based challenge. A lot of my favorite characters are included in the outsider section.

I'm too lazy to count, but the Asari kits are easily in the top 5.

GI, 400 waves on Xbox.

I seem to have completed the challenge twice, once on each platform. In my 2000 hours.

I've done each of those challenges twice at best, so...

Uneducated guesses at top 3 most played kits:

1. GI - probably 7500+ waves
2. HI - probably 3000+ waves
3. HE - probably 1000+ waves

Not to mention all the waves you played with the Vanilla kits and other DLC kits BEFORE N7HQ came out,

Impossible to count all those waves if you started playing MP in 2012

I think you hit the nail on head for most gamers. Procrastinating and underachieving since 1961.

I haven't completed a single one of those challenges, so... Yeah.

On a second look, I have completed some, but completely randomly, and I'm 100% sure there's something wrong with how it computes the waves I've completed - there's no way in hell I only have 121 waves of GT under my belt.

So yeah, I have no bloody idea.

If I had to guess..this is not a joke...N7 Slayer ; 10,000 waves at least..I would actually put that number closer to 15,000 waves.  I would put FQI at 7,000 waves minimum.. and both Asari Adepts at over 6,000 waves each.

I don't have top 10 kits based on wave challenges.

But going off from what I've played a lot with a rough estimate.

I'm going to assume 15000+ waves of my GI because I used to be a hardcore GI main back in resurgence and rebellion for anyone who knew me that I spammed the GI a lot.

17500+ waves were VMS.

I have other kits but too lazy to guess how many waves I've played with my other kits but I know those 2 I mentioned above were the 2 that I used the most.
