Is there a reason why the trailer song is slower than the original?

The first thing I did after seeing the trailer of ME:A, was downloading the song Ghost Riders In The Sky by Johnny Cash. And since then there has not been a day I haven't listened this sing at least once. But I noticed that the original is played a little faster than the song in the trailer.

Has anyone noticed this? Or is it just me?

What's more, I think that the music is not just a "trailer music", but it seems thst it is played by the character. The modulation changes on the jump and as he moves. So th classics survived the Reaper invasion :)

Probably just to pace the music better with the trailer. The slowed-down version of the song hits the "Ghost Riders in the Sky" line just as Mr. N7 starts walking towards the screen, and the faster tempo would've been a little frantic for flipping through the screens.

I rather liked how the yippie-ay-yea part is trapped in the distortion when the jump occurs. The whole thing is a nice piece of editing.
