This is where all the other solo runs go.  We're just going to collect the HoF achievements here!  Let's figure out how to sort this thing when we get enough entries.

EDIT: Removed the N7 Demolisher since the screenshot was for the PC.  Also, I'm pretty sure I had more Bronze solos than the ones I took photos of.  Ah well.

My difficulty has been losing connection around wave 4

I've not tried in ages, hopefully my connection is better the days.

It doesn't help having phones laptops and XboxOne all fighting for the same bandwidth.

You should block all other devices. LOL.

 

The disconnects can be a total pain.  I've had my fair share of disconnects.  The more painful ones were wave 9 ones!  Those were absolutely infuriating!

Had a weird gold match this evening.

I failed to connect to an invite twice and decided to search Gold. I arrived in wave 8 (I heard a voice saying this wave never ends, before I could see anything) to find two players dead and s third camped out at the spawn point of firebase White. He did nothing but I managed to clear the wave of a phantom and a few others and revive him twice.

This is when things got weird. It was still wave 8! After reviving the camper a few more times I decided to leave him. He died more but revived himself. We progressed slowly dealing with things methodically. Eventually it was just me and the camper again. He still hadn't moved from where he spawned. From a safe distance I saw two Atlas mechs standing over him firing their missiles, pounding the ground. He would go down and then revive himself. He got up at least 10 times!

Eventually they gave up on him and came after me, well I was shooting at them. I was gradually wearing away their shields and running for cover whenever they got close, when the host (top scorer too) quit. When wave 8 restarted the camper was gone and the second place guy then quit too. This time, a fifth guy joined in as the wave restarted. Thankfully he was good and the pair of us managed to clear wave 8. Eventually we were rejoined by the first two players.

After completing the wave 10 mission, player 5 find himself to be the last man standing. Then two Atlus Mechs were on him when a phantom stabbed him. We were in luck, he got up. But then immediately got grabbed by an Atlas. He survived that too! I've NEVER seen anyone survive an Atlas grab before! He got out of there and eventually killed the phantom and both Atlas Mechs, awesome work.

Wave 11 lasted about a minute! I checked the clock to see we had 10 seconds left and we were all across the map. I ran but got nowhere near, none of us extracted! That was the weirdest game I've ever played.

LOL.  That's one super glitchy match.  I suspect it must be due to someone's network lag causing funky space magic. 

 

I don't quite remember ever having such a zany match like that.  The most glitchy ones I remember were matches where every enemy was invisible.  In one of my early days in ME3 MP, I joined a lobby where everyone was invisible.  I was the only one there and my life kept going down.  I ran out of consumables and laid there and bled out.  But the match never ended.  The camera was just fixed on me and then, Hackett announced that there's a last enemy left, but no marker on where that enemy was.  The wave cleared, it was wave 11 and the match cleared out with me playing hide and seek in a corner in the LZ. LOL.

I've had an invisible game two. I thought I was the only one playing at first, I arrived during an escort mission. But, due to the dialogue and being revived by Mr Invisible I realised I wasn't alone. But my name was the only one showing on the gamepad and no one else was visible. I could tell they were killing stuff though. At game over, I returned to the lobby to see three other players.

I played a couple of games with Einstein after that (he's good). I got an invite from Wii-the-best and played one gold with him (and two others). All three of them were way better than me.

Wii got disconnected part way through but he managed to get back in, he must have used up all his gels or something and left to get more.

I keep getting invites from XScorpionX64 but every time it fails to connect. Another oddity.

The failed invite joining probably has to do with geography of the host.  Sometimes, the ping to the host is so much that the game will kill your connection.  I think the only way to get to join those is by having another guy in that lobby host and then send the invite to you.

 

Get used to playing second fiddle to the likes of Wii-the-best.  Even I ain't as good.
