This is what I'm hoping for really. Returning characters have never been done right by Bioware.

He's basically like Ma'iq the Liar in Elder Scrolls series.

I'd rather not have too many fan-wankery scenes in the game, I want a new story, not some warmed up crops of the old one.

Will be perfectly happy with 100% new start in the Mass Effect Universe, in fact I prefer it that way.     Not a fan of cameos in the first place.   More than enough room in the universe for all new special snowflakes.

Yes. I will be totally happy to never see any of the original Mass Effect cast again. New game, new galaxy, new characters.

I'd be fine with no major characters returning.

That would be ideal. They had their time. I can revisit them whenever. We shouldn't be bumping into familiar faces at every turn. The universe  is a big place. Bioware did a fine job of making it seem ridiculously small. Time to broaden our horizons.

A lot of characters were around for the endgame of ME3. So it would make sense that they wouldn't show up again.

 

But let's brainstorm!

 

What characters are left that aren't tied up as war assets of story pieces or in-game characters?
