More like ME1 because it did such a great job enhancing it's atmosphere. But really, whatever everyone at BioWare thinks sounds good.

I really like this album it contains great ambient tracks that would fit ME quite well. The ambient genre is characterized by very long and not immediate catching tracks, the rythm takes time to grow and therefore it takes time to appreaciate but I think fit very well long exploration times and integrate very well with the space scenario/vistas which will be stunning in this game I'm sure. I think music should serve the game rather than being outstanding in its own merit. Ambient in my humble opinion while not immediate and epic on its own, it's a sort of altruistic music that support whatever moment and situation you decided to combine her with.

Enjoy guys!

This would be a great theme for a suicide-esqe mission, or for when our intrepid hero is moving to confront the villain in the midst of an intense firefight.

A great track for the exploration of an icy planet

Also a great planetary exploration track:

Stuff like this is really missing from ME2 and 3.

Noveria is my favorite planet in the trilogy and the music definitely reinforced that.

Therum, while not the best because the dull aesthetics and uninteresting level design, had the music with some of the most atmosphere and energy in it.

That would work great in a club. The first time I heard it I immediately thought Mass Effect.

Something tempered and along the lines of ME1 score would be great.

...or as cabin music, assuming that feature returns.

How about Trevor Morris again?  This time without the under utilization?

I'm hoping they bring him back for DA4. He is responsible for the best DA soundtrack by far, and the only one of the bunch IMO that was remotely memorable.

Has he ever done anything with a Sci Fi vibe?

Nah.  I was more being a smart ass.  He tends to do historical shows on television like The Borgias and Vikings.  So it probably wouldn't work. Still, if they could hire a big name composer and then....actually utilize his pieces that would be greeaaaat.

That would work too. But why not both? Like the Afterlife theme in ME2.

And I fully agree with you about Trevor Morris being responsible for the best DA soundtrack. I still listen to songs from it, while I can't even remember any of the Origins and DA2 songs. I just remember not liking them.

With the massive new resurgence of Synth music, I'd like to hear some of that..  It's perfect for games like Mass Effect

Would also like to hear some D&B in a space bar like Omega but not rehashed music from Need for Speed.

Real rave face melters.

I'd warm up to the game a lot more if Jack Wall was back.
