Just noticed something and wished to make sure it is not a bug...
I play a templar for the first time as my main character and I've noticed as follows (L14)
Bull's charge > Blessed blades in middle of the enemies.
Then Wrath of Heaven to stun them.
then most interesting thing happens...
once they are stunned if I use spell purge it causes and aoe detonation with uber amount of damage and almost always insta kills everything.
Also all the abilities in templar tree are upgraded.

That 12x your weapon's base damage. Are you a 2H Templar? That could be pretty big.
If the enemies were demons, the Blessed Blades would buff that number even more.
(BTW, Blessed Blades is a waste of Stamina on non-demon enemies.)

I was fighting demons in rift and using blessed blades I got this epic aoe effect where it got 8k damage to all demons... it was glorious.
btw iirc Blessed blades gives shorter CD on Spell Purge and Wrath of Heaven while it is active so it might not be total waste and if you use the upgraded bull's charge blessed blades is free.

Last post seems to indicate it was indeed not fixed. Blessed Blades is a total waste, and not worth 1 of the very precious 8 slots. Skip it.
