problen with character creator help please

anytime i try to run the character creator it starts up then says failed to detect supported video card, idk why this is happening cause i have RADEON X700 pro graphic card an it runs other games fine for the most part, if anyone knows what might be the problem please let me know thank you.

Sorry, but according to the system requirements (dragonage.bioware.com/game/#1.05) and this chart (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units#PCIe_.28X7xx.2C_X8xx.29), your card can't handle it even on minimum. You need a card that's at least 3x as powerful.Image IPB

oh ok well would jus getting a newer/better graphics card be a solution or would i have to get a whole new comp

Well, do the other components of your computer meet the system requirements? If you're processor's good, it's very cheap and easy to upgrade the memory and video card, for instance. If you do end up getting a new video card, make sure it uses the same slot. On the second link I posted, you can see there are AGP, PCI, and PCI-E of different speeds available. It's not all that complicated, but can be daunting. Lemme know if you need a hand. =]
