Can... can the double XP thing stay forever?

It's such a smoooth feeling cycle. 1 Perilous game as a naked scrub into 1 perilous game with the core of your build into 1 perilous game with an essentially finished build into a promotion. Actually makes promote grinding one class in a marathon feel somewhat varied and not that grindy. I am not sure I can survive the transition back into regular XP gains, it's Diablo 3's doubled legendary drop rate event all over again.

plz

you gave into the whininess of us scrubs before, do it one moar time

luke plz

/inb4 the slippery slope counter-arguments.

MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

At least they should consider making you level 1,2,3,4,5 after a promote. All dependent on how many 'stars' you got with the class.

If you got 4 stars with the Templar (100 runs) then you can promote to level 4. That would remove some of the agony of being a lv.1 which is boring as hell and give additional goals to chase.

1 run = 1 star = level 1 after promote

15 run = 2 star= level 2 after promote

25 run = 3 star= level 3 after promote

100 run = 4 star= level 4 after promote

250 run = 5 star= level 5 after promote

Signed in just to show my support for this.  This would make the game even more enjoyable and it doesn't sound difficult...I could be wrong though.

Damn! That is a lot of likes for the above promote idea. One can only hope that the DEVs see it.

We spend maybe 1/5-1/3 of our playtime as a level 1 and that's 'sorta' boring  :(

here's another one:

let's say your char is level 19 and needs 1000 xp to reach 20... you play a perilous match which gives you let's say 5000 xp ... so why not - if you immediatly press promote after said match - give your now lvl 1 the already earned 4000 xp so that you don't have to start at lvl 1?

Keep it to just weekends.

But do it again sometime in the future.

Gives people something to look forward to AND it was great fun doing it.

If you do it all the time it will become standard and people will want more........

I thought it was fresh and chaotic.  Love it.

Plus I'm not sure my home life could survive if this was a weekly occurrence!

It's to keep routine or even threatening viable/populated for new players (actually we mostly play perilous and above now so maybe I am talking out my ass)

I'm not a fan of exp carrying over. Don't get me wrong, it would benefit me very much as I play loads but for the greater good, no, leave it as it is.

I see where you're coming from...

but a new player would (IF he/she is in his/her right mind ^^) still play at least threatening (and dying constantly while doing so even with lvl 17 - witnessed this in countless pug matches this WE.. could have been the Horrors & Revenants though ^^)

but it doesn't really matter what we suggest or think... BW won't change anything

Was fun running one perilous as level 1s, hit 15-16 and going into nightmare to finish off the character.

Double gold would be better for new players....

There is like 3x more enemies which means slightly longer dungeon times and still get the same gold.

I play threatening quite a bit when I am working on banner/gold challenges, so at least I am helping newer players that way

(even if it is only to help myself primarily)

Brill idea! You have to work a little, but then you get a permanent reward. Love it.

Like from me,
we definitely need something to just not play that often as 1st level...

The other bonus to Kmeeg's system is that if people see a level 5 in a threatening or perilous lobby they could figure out the person might have 250 runs that character and not boot them.

I afk' d a lot in Threatening with Smurf.

Would pop back to game screen to a double bagging. Sometimes even a literal ménage +1.

Popped back out to type my complaints.

Pop back in to a turbo bag. Or Lefaey's long slow deep steeps.

Rinse and repeat. That was pretty much my weekend.

They are a funny bunch. Smurf's a pretty standard bagger and Aggro is like a chipmunk on crack. Turbo-bagging indeed.

Lefaey's been a perfect gentleman with me, though. Hasn't bagged me once, just swooped in for the revive - occasionally doing so fast enough to save me the Ludicrous Speed-Bagging of Aggro. I have no idea why Lefaey does this when he surely knows I'd bag him in a New York minute, but he continues to rise above.

Meanwhile, I think I'm somewhere between standard and the long slow deep steep. I like to let the taco-dipping hang there for a moment - just long enough for you to contemplate your life decisions and figure out what you learned from this experience - before rising back up to rinse and repeat. Has a nice little rhythm to it. Aggro's bagging just makes me chuckle because I imagine it sounding like a friggin' basketball being dribbled on my toon's face. Seriously, dude, slow down.
