I don't know about extra money, but you gained galatic readness for ALL regions instead of only the one you chose, also there was bonus xp for selecting random enemy.

 

Regarding DAMP.... If it has it isn't showing in the UI, as far as I can tell anyway. Never tested to see if it is hidden though.

Nope, it gives you nothing, except the occasional headache when you get the storm dragon when all you want to do is some quick runs without having that cheap b*tch shooting her bullsh*t at you for 5 miserable zones.

Edit: I'm salty because I used a Dragon Call and have run out of iron.

Gya, there's always Drakestone, which, to me, seems a bit more thematic for crafting a Dragon Call.

No extra xp or gold at all.

 

In fact gold earned while in a "random" game does not count towards that map's challenge. For example, Earning gold while playing Elven Ruins will not count towards the gold collected in the Elven ruins challenge. But it will still count towards the overall gold earned.

 

I have never noticed, nor have I cared to test it out in game. But I have heard a few people on the leaderboards claim that agent completions do not count on random maps as well.

 

By all means go ahead and "search" for a game using the random search feature. But once you join a game. Make absolutely sure that a specific map and even difficulty are selected, and it just doesnt simply say random.

Small caveat, Ferelden Castle by itself is a random map. It should have a specific dragon chosen to not be considered random. Yet... there is no gold challenge associated with FC. So it would only matter if the agent completion does not track on random maps.
