I am 67 years old and my son gave me challenge to be #1 on Dragon Age the game of the year. I am retired and I do what I enjoy doing = playing games with friends and meeting new people to play with. I would never cheat or use a glitch to be #1.  So those numbers do mean something for me and with others that choose to play the game fairly and be at the top.

 

Maybe I am just old fashioned and would like things fair and equal.

 

 

Respect to you, I am 58 years old, and probably most would say a bit old fashioned too. Congrats on your past achievement. Currently I am about 80 points shy of getting onto the 100 leaderboard (obviously at the bottom), and yes, I would like to achieve that. As others have stated, if some people are not interested in the leaderboards, then fine, why talk about it or state an opinion on it. But for players that are interested (like myself) then even though cheaters will never be eradicated, let us hope that the ones that Bioware know about are removed and even banned.

 

I still work although my disability affects my concentration and reflexes somewhat. I find playing the game with more mentally and physically agile (in a reflex sense) players a challenge.

 

I do accept that being on the leaderboards does not mean that you are a better player than if you are not (that is patently obvious with some of them - no names!), but it does show your level of dedication and work that you have put into the game.

 

I regard myself as an average player.

 

I have about 80 on my friends list, and I play with about 10 regularly. Our prestige points introduces a competitiveness to us, and they generate some humerous banter too. Some take it more seriously than others, it is just a game, but it is the winning not the playing that counts (did I get that right ?).

 

So, please Bioware, do your best to try and eliminate from the face of this Earth (joke), the scumbag cheaters, hackers, international fraudsters, and downright not very nice people that upset cool peeps like me.

You seem to think that if you keep saying that everyone's issue with you is your prestige number they'll believe you. It seems to me all anyone ever tells you is that they don't care about your leaderboard ranking or your prestige rating.

 

In fact, it seems to me that the people who have an issue with you have clearly told you that they don't like you constantly posting aggressively about your "superiour prestige rating" and accusing everyone who doesn't fall all over themselves to praise you as "haters."

I took a few month break after being #1 on the leader board for over 6 months. I saw new content and thought I would play again.

 

I suggest that you no longer include the leaderboards  as some of the new top players are cheating and have found a glitch. They do not deserve the right to have their names on the top of the boards and have not earned it.

Buwahahahaw, this made me laugh so hard. Sounds to me like you're miffed about taking 6 months off. Keep on crying to that tune. Pretty sure your tears sustain the devs to keep making this game great. I'll quote from last week's Twitch Stream, you gotta git gud.
