Inferior human eyesight cannot see the post directly above their own.
Inferior batarian intelligence makes one unable to predict actions, even of one's own government.

Silly batarians. They can't even tell when a game misuses resources and replaces an alien character model with a human's.
I'd love to see the batarians try to colonize Mars. The spanking they'd get would be felt across the Nubian Expanse.
A magical human, since he apparently didn't even need a helmet on a harsh planet with no breathable atmosphere. ME1 is so clown shoes, man.
Predicting outcomes is what allowed the reapers to slaughter everyone without their programming overriding them. Typical of a human to support arguments only when it suits them.
As for your precious colonies... A human was behind the Skyllian Blitz. And if humans begin to settle our lands, we'll sure as hell defend our worlds. Note that no Batarians were dumb enough to try to colonize Mars.
Predicting outcomes is what lead to Dr.Amanda Kenson understanding the Reapers were coming and devising a plan that stopped them in their tracks and delayed the invasion.
Right, kidnapping and enslaving little girls is all part of territorial strategy.
See, unlike batarians, humans have never invaded inhabited planets. And no, just because it's next door, doesn't mean it's yours. You people attacked salarians and asari colonies long before humans had arrived.
I'm enjoying this roleplay conversation very much.
I want to see an anti-council made up of the races that the council snubbed. And it would be glorious.
Yes, this sounds fantastic. Could be led from Rannoch, since it wasn't destroyed and is strategically defensible on the opposite side of the galaxy. Would love to see billions of toasters, battletoads, falcon punches and high tech explosives decimating what is left of the Council's burning homeworlds, then either confine them to their destroyed planets, kick them off to wander the galaxy (krogan need living space after all), or force them to petition a new Council made up of Admiral Xen, Bray, Lord Fortack and some human (if they had the foresight to destroy the previous Council) for associate membership, only for them to be denied for 2000 straight years or so.
@MisterJB Man, you really hate batarians don't you ![]()
Let's forget about how BW made them the bad guys of the galaxy.
Nobody hate krogans, even after what they tried to accomplish (pretty much rule the entire galaxy), based on how salarians uplifted them because they are "so" intelligent, and then, on ME3 we got a hint that salarians may try to uplift the yahg (because that worked so well in the past).
And before all that, the rachni. The weird insectoid race that tried to f*ck up the entire galaxy, and then they said that it was because of the reapers.
Does anyone hate the rachni? I think not. I certainly don't, although there's not much to talk about, they seem to be pretty good workers when it comes to building things. In fact, I was hoping to see them fight the reapers back in ME3, instead of that BW took them and made them once more the bad guys until you free the queen from the reapers (again) and everyone's happy.
Do I hate krogans? no. They're friggin cool, and after the events of ME3 they seemed much more focused in being part of the galaxy, rather than trying to submit every single species. Do I hate salarians? neither, they're cool too, even when some of them are dumb as rocks when it comes to decisions.
I think BW could give batarians a less shity role this time. Hating just for the sake of it is like hating russians because you don't like Putin's policies.

Out of character, I hate how Bioware characterized the Batarians.
As it stands, Batarians are a mirror of humanity; good with tech, biotics, AND combat, relentlessly expanding and forging their own way in the universe. However, Batarians also have most major issues that plague humanity; slavery, governmental corruption, human rights issues, racism, imperialism... And without a single redeeming characteristic, they become less of a mirror to humanity, instead reduced to a scapegoat for everything bad so that humans can maintain their "Holier than thou" attitude.
Ehhh, excuse me? Did someone say here that Batarians are as evolved as the council races? LMAO
Batarians have an almost primitive way of thinking, keeping away everyone and everything they don't know.
Batarian Hegemony look like the alien version of North Korea, except they are even worse!
I expect them to play a bigger role on future though, even if their governament is paranoid, some of them are really cool guys like Bray and Narl.
P.S - A squadmate,yeah.A romance option...Are you sure? really,really,really sure? O_O
Batarians are cool, don't get me wrong. But they are fugly as hell!
What was intended to happen and what actually happened in the canon are two different things, as many people who disapproved of the endings learned the hard way. Heliat was a human, no matter how the Alliance tries to hide it.
Apparently BioWare "accidentally" gave him a human model when he should have been Turian.
If the Batarians wanted to come to Andromeda they shouldn't have died.
Signed: The Krogan.
Ironic considering the krogan can end up like this in the war:

Guess they shouldn't show up in Andromeda either.
Batarians are so comically evil as a society that it wouldn't really be possible to have a properly batarian character as a squad member.
Have to say I agree tbh although the Reapers did do a lot of damage to the Batarians even befoer they started attacking the rest of the galaxy at the start of the Reaper war so there's probably not many of them left. So seeing them as a possible squadmate/romance option I think are pretty remote but of course Bioware might surprise us.

There's more than you'd think. After all, there are millions in the Terminus Systems and the Terminus Systems were left relatively unscathed by the Reaper War.

Tru ebut withtheir government deffectibvely desrtoyed and what with the majority of those Batarians in the Terminus being pirates do you think the other races would want them to be part of the project? I doubt it.

There are plenty of Batarians we meet or hear about in the Terminus who aren't affiliated with the various criminal organizations.
