Personally I'd have no issue if vorcha weren't on the ark at all. One of the less interesting species IMO.

Miranda is one of the less interesting species.

If you think about the Vorcha's short lifespans and ability to individually "evolve" actually make them ideal for exploring another galaxy. presumably their short lifespans and violent culture mean that they have some way of mass reproduction which would mean it would be simple to replenish their population and their ability to adapt would make them ideal for exploring harsh unknown environments with minimum cost. have them lead by some of the smarter/calmer krogan and you have the perfect scouts.

I will be upset if I can't let a vorcha move in to my ship. Even if they won't be a squadmate, I at least want one to be an important character. Think of kelly chambers, but a vorcha.

Now enjoy your nightmares.

The vorcha aren't really an insular society like the quarians, or a band of propaganda-spreading xenophobic terrorists like the batarians were. At best, they're basically a clan society, like the krogan, only less disruptive to other species. Anyway, the vorcha can actually be trained and conditioned; their only real weakness is their exceptionally brief lifespan.

Yeah, but Quarians and Batarians issues are societal problems, not down to the people.

The Quarians wouldn't be insular if they weren't shunned everywhere for having created the Geth and if their immune systems weren't shot to pieces, while the Batarians who live outside of the Hegemony, free from a tyrannical, propaganda-spewing government, clearly are thriving and working alongside other races without that many problems (if the multispecies merc groups in Terminus are any indication).

It was mentioned in ME3 that a group of Asari scientists have attempted to train and condition the Vorcha in the past, but ultimately failed when their phenomenal breeding speed meant that the Asari couldn't keep up with trying to educate the current generation, before the next had been born and were only a few years from being ready to start on the third.

Of course, the Asari might have unintentionally sabotaged themselves, forgetting that they've got all the time in the world unlike everyone else, so they didn't make the training as condensed and easy to learn as it could have been? Salarians or another short lived species might have had better luck at uplifting them.
