They were always red in the previous Dragon Ages.

Why are they green now?

Is this another #lolEABioWareretconn?

Or are there any specific lore reasons for this?

It's part of their nefarious plan to kill off the part of their fanbase that suffers from crippling O.C.D. by giving them brain aneurysms.

This has always mildly bugged me...

Synthesis confirmed.

...Because of this :P

But really, I'd imagine there is no particular reason besides wanting things in Inquisition to be light green and glowing if possible. The breach and rifts, your mark, Inquisition uniforms, etc.

Just... quoting you to say I love your sig.

Also, relating back to my earlier post, I did try to change the color of the icon, but the image of that potion and all other icons in that image file, end up looking corrupted when in the game. Must investigate!

Maybe to discourage people form drinking all the poultices? ;)

Technically, poison still exists, but strictly as a rogue thing.

Tears_of_the_Dead_Grenade.PNG40px-Poisoned_Weapons.png40px-Toxic_Cloud.png You're totally right. Absolutely no poison in DAI at all...

it's a skill, not an object to apply on weapon regardless of your class

Cause Warriors using poisons and Mages projecting poisons via magic staff made complete sense within any context.

If weapon-coating poisons aren't part of the Rogue archetype, I don't know what is.

Yes. Yes it is:

You can obtain it in Fallow Mire, and it can be used by every character.
