Here are the rules: 

 

1. PC players are not allowed to hack coalesced.win and remove objectives from the game (duh)

2. No pizza running

3. No hack glitching

4. No HVB's on vanilla weapons (because of the weight glitch) P.S. Vanilla weapons are all those weapons that came before DLC ones. Omniblades are allowed though. 

5. You can't use Incendiary ammo if you have any of these powers: Flamer, Warp, Inferno Grenades, Incinerate (because of the incendiary stacking glitch)

6. Armored Compartments are not allowed (take out bosses the legit way, instead of nuking)

 

Anyone up for it?  (any difficulty of your liking is allowed) Post a screenshot or a video (if you can record) 

 

P.S. Just to clarify, this isn't a speedrun thread. You can go for speed if you like (I didn't) or you can get triple devices and spend 45 minutes on a solo, it doesn't matter. The point is to get stuff done with the rules above

I think you meant to specify those HVBs that add 50 weight, but the SMG HVB doesn't, so no weight glitch benefit. Is it still included? Also, the Pistol Heavy Barrel does benefit from the weight glitch but doesn't do high velocity, so I'd expect you mean to include that too.

Yes. HVB's that add 50 weight are forbidden. Omniblades also add 50 weight, but are allowed, since melee is harder and takes longer than shooting someone through a wall.

It's not about difficulty. It's about not exloiting the game. And although AC is not an exploit (same with Geth Scanner or Grenade Capacity or HM) I'm removing it, because it gives HM kits a big bonus.

First solo done. Scrubbity scrub QFE. Objectives: Hack-Hack-Devices. Didn't use rockets till wave 8. Wave 6 hack was kinda hairy, since I didn't want to leave it and got pressured by goons and fantums.

Prestacious challenges have some solos with all of these rules except the HVB one.

 

And there are a lot of submissions where any weight glitchable mod wasn't used. So, it has been done.

This was from outlier series in that thread where cyclonics and rockets on non-objective waves were banned too in addition to 1,2,3,5 and 6. (50 melee kills was a requirement).

Hats off to playing as intended; although BH is being overstrict e.g. no AC. It can be good to constrain yourself, but don't overly it otherwise you won't enjoy it.

Using incendiary ammo in and of itself is an exploit. So if you really wanna go the 100% super legit way, you need to ban them altogether.

If you don't, it makes no sense to ban them with powers that can make the glitch worse, since they only do that if you want them to (I.e: fire after the power).

Other than that, I've done plenty of this. Pretty much any of my (admittedly few) solos is like that. It's what I find fun. I might even have a vid of a sub-30, 10 WS, no rocket FQE solo attempt on white/reapers. Took me 32 mins in the end, and I died on wave 9 I think. Might be able to find it in my hard drive... Maybe.

Why is that?  It doesn't react with a lot of other powers and FE's are totally legit.
