Multiple hits glitch was compensated for in the form of extra HP for Atlas, I believe. Could also have been for other boss units, but I don't know.
Not a good compensation though, as that glitch still favours weapon specialist kits over those that want to use something else than AP or Drill ammo.

With enough penetration you can double and sometime triple hit some enemies, Scions, Banshees, Praetorians, Atlases, etc, etc, etc. If shooting in weak points with double hits you can take down bosses super fast with AP or Drill rounds.
If you hit certain spots on the Atlas's canopy while having enough penetration (1.5m is enough, yesterday I got the same results with the sniper rifle vanilla penetration mod too), the game registers 1 shot as 2 or 3 shots connecting.
Similar examples are Banshee with her barrier up (no need to hit a specific spot) and Praetorian bubble.

Surprisingly not having the HVB didn't make much difference in terms of penetration, apparently most walls on Glacier can be penetrated by the normal piercing mod, heh.

Heldarion has already asked that and the answer is no. Just because Infiltrators don't suffer from cooldowns, doesn't mean they are allowed to use it.

I just see tons of these "has anyone done...." threads, it's refreshing to see someone participate in their own challenge for once.
It occurs to me that both of my Gold solos meet those requirements.
Actually, that may not be true. I can't remember if I had the pizza as a Krogan Warlord, or not. If I did, I almost certainly used the headbutt to speed it up.

Well, actually I think I've done a good bunch of "legit" solos, but I'm not going to spam the thread so I will stop here.
By the way, shouldn't target switching be forbidden too ?
I'm sure I could find a solo of mine that fits with these rules but I couldn't be arsed, so I did a new one instead. Here's my scrub tier silver submission.
Devices, 2 very slow pizzas and some targets.
Just did one for my bb though of course I used the VENOM but instead of incendiary I used warp with my BroDept

@ Loufi, target switching is not an exploit. It was intended that way from the start (same with reload cancelling), unlike running with pizza or hack glitching.
