are u serious you comparing transgenders to albinos. Remove your self at once and reevaluate what just thought about right now. We are talking about sexual orientation not with how u look.

Well, technically it is an issue of how you look. "I identify as one gender, but have the body of another.". It's not a sexual orientation.

You probably don't need to worry. I doubt Bioware will be inclined to repeat the balance of options issue of DAI. I think it will be all entirely even from now on.

The head writer of Inquisition said he felt the "inclusiveness" of Inquisition's romances got out of hand and became a constraint on creativity and resources. A lot of people who can't see the forest for the trees complained about the lack of romance equality. That's BS. There were 2 gay romance options, 2 bi romance options and 3 straight romance options(but one is only for female elves). Demanding more "equality" than that is just selfish entitlement.

I might need you to clarify the tenor of your post. Is this just casual conversation, or is your point intended to counter a point you perceived in my comment?

4 straight romances, actually. But yeah, one was available solely to Elven women and another only to Elven or Human women. And those two were added during the year extension.

Originally it was 2/2/2, meaning everyone had 2 options, other than bisexuals who would have 4 due to the nature of bisexuality.

Ironically, the Solas Romance is probably the best of the bunch....

Regarding the question here...i'm not against the idea. It will be a delicate issue to tackle though. For example, would it be a transexual woman who is interested in men or women sexually? Gender doesn't equal actual sexual preference, which makes that an important question to ask if a character will be roman cable.

Considering there is a mon-gendered species in the Asari though, perhaps the point is moot and you can get an alien species that is multi-gendered depending on their partner; they can be male, female, hermaphroditic or asexual.

Shouldn't you "remove your self at once and reevaluate what just thought about right now" after calling transgenderism a sexual orientation?

Informative.

The goal of my question was clarity. I'm asking you to elaborate on what point you think I made.

I'm going to be vaguely on-topic for a little bit.

. . .what if it's a transgender Asari?

I mean, they're monogendered/female and all that but- Mansari. . .

---------

More on topic and in relation to the quoted area, but I think it would be easier to implement if its a new race that can change its gender for breeding, certain types of jungle frogs. Not quite what people would be hoping but- think it might be more interesting that way, similar to the whole 'Asari are all women-but-not-quite-but-are-but-'

I inferred that your point was that the romances in Inquisition too heavily favored straight options.

Romances have become disgusting, again, honestly. And the need to stress "equality" has becoming more suffocating than this hugbox is stuffed with entitlement.

The Asari have no concept, let alone genetic markers of gender non-normalcy. There can't be a transgender Asari because they only have one gender, both genetically and socially. An Asari being "transgender" would essentially be the equivalent of a rich kid pretending to be a thug from the ghetto.

Shouldn't you "remove your self at once and reevaluate what just thought about right now" after calling transgenderism a sexual orientation?

sexual orientation - a person's sexual identity in relation to the gender to which they are attracted

So if you like a transgender that is based on your sexual orientation. Apparently this world likes to put labels on every thing and choices not to call them women or men. They call them transgender. So i don't see how albinos has to do with anything of that matter.

PS: "remove your self at once and reevaluate what just thought about right now"    because you obviously don't understand  what i'm trying to say here

How is that related to the discussion you were engaged in? You called transgenderism a sexual orientation, not sexual attraction to transgender people, which is also not a sexual orientation.

You're not saying anything here. And stop trying to be a moderator. It's extremely annoying.

You inferred incorrectly. I expressed absolutely no personal opinion about the romance balance of Inquisition in my post. I was stating that I believe it's unlikely Bioware will give any demographic a notably higher number of romance options than the others after the reaction DAI received from straight male players.

When it comes down to it, I'm in the group regarded as having most benefited from the romance setup of DAI, and I was largely happy with the content. So, there was no correlation between my satisfaction with that content and my attempt to reassure the straight male poster I was responding to.

Well I think you should leave until you're able to able to concisely communicate your views and be mature enough to not tell people to leave the forum just because you disagree with them. Are you going to leave?

I'd take it a step further and say that would be the asari equivalent to being an otherkin.

NO i'm not going to leave and apparently i think u should try and understand others points of view and what they are trying saying more before even trying to explain yourself. Since reading this thread i can see i'm not the only person you misunderstood. I said what i said as an expression of what i felt. Even if i did tell them to leave you really think they will, NO.

LOOk you're still here.

David said this? huh. Although I gotta say the race gating probably did not help matters.

I mean, I understand what they were working to do, and thought it was a worthy goal. But the logistics of it all. My God. And they had 4 races, too.

Although, I'm a fan of playersexual LI's. Playersexual and have it dependent on whether, or not, you get along. It's not authentic representation, but Idk if they can really do it all justice with the limited resources and limited companions that you may have.

edit: and perhaps they could have representation with npc's that are not LI's, but are in the world at large. I mean, somebody's gotta be getting some loving besides my PC, right?
