You see, the Problem with that is - why would it matter? What would it bring to or take from the Story? If it's an ideal World in regards to that, it is something normal so it doesn't even warrant any mention. Because, if it is mentioned, it is implied that it is something special and unusual, so that it calls Attention to itself. If it is mentioned, the Story becomes to a small Part about it and ME:A is not a Story about transgendered People. The homosexual Romances in all Mass Effect Games were not treated as something out of the usual, they didn't call Attention to themselves beyond "I'm attracted to my own Sex" (which can#t be avoided), but a transgendered Character would have to specifically mention something along the Lines of "Hey, I am transgendered", they'd have to identifiy themselves as transgendered, they would have to call the Story's Attention to that Fact. And this I don't want, because ME:A is not a Story about People being transgendered and what it means to romance someone transgendered.

Ok just gona say this once as a LGBT wadever myself.

Not every tick on the cecklist needs to be crossed. you dont need to cater to every demmographic.

no im not going to go into a slippery slope fallacy but where will it end?

Look at Lara Croft her Breasts are to big so they mak 'em smaller noe they are masculiniseing her.

you can never please everyone.

You don't need to represent every single demographic just for the sake of it.

If such a character was able to be implemented as a fully realised person with faults and flaws and their own characteristics I could maybe get behind the idea but at this moment in time I can only really see such a character being a one-note tickbox on a checklist rather than a fleshed out person.

Straight characters all seem to have the classic daddy issues (except for Kaidan). From what I've seen they can barely write a gay or lesbian character. You want them to try this?

thing is you would need 2 a m-f and a f-m just ti stop the hate mob. i remember a few things like that about Krem. while most people loved him there were the nutters.

"She was a traitor to woman kind."

"it should have been a man" ect

like i said idiots.

Also have the character call you transphobic if you don't feel like performing cunnilingus on her penis.

Wouldn't that be fellatio? I mean, I want to make sure we're getting accurate terminology here.

Ok. certan groups claimed she was "eye candy and offescive to women." portraying an unrealstic body type. (Tell that to Cosplayers.)

and when the recent game came out."They reduced her cup size. they are takeing away her feminimity and trying to turn her into a dude whith boobs." like i said you can never win.

Ok like i have always said Start whith the character first then decide on the Pronouns.. there is a sh¡t ton these days.

Ah, okay. I thought you meant the appearance change was occurring between Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider, not between the older Tomb Raider games and the reboot.

Thoughts?

Why? Aside from someone just being kinky I don't know of anyone who would actively seek out a relationship with someone because he/she is trans. If anything, it would be more honest to have the option there, then finding out if/when you fall for that person. Before the first kiss because I think that's just fair. I don't have a problem with it, but I do have a problem with it being there because reasons.

Just as a general thought after hearing some others, I don't believe trans people generally get much of a kick out of "tricking" people into making out with them. That seems to be the biggest issue to most, for some reason.

I have a hard time believing their (love)life is supposed to be an elaborate practical joke.

Dunno about a "relationship" per say, but there's a notable shemale fetish among (allegedly) straight men.

I'm good with doing the air quotes (and you know, actual quotes since this is digital) around "relationship." But that's kind of what I was getting at. Is the request to satisfy a kink, to check a box, or because there are trans people who are in relationships? My guess is that it's not the latter.

I'm inclined to say "sure why not?" but I'm also inclined to believe that answer will result with a rotten tomato or the label "SJW!" to my face.

So I vote that Bioware spins a wheel when creating characters and let that decide whether someone is cis or trans. Or roll a dice.

Or anything else based on chance so they don't get the comments like "you're just checking a box" or "they're just there because reasons" or "you're just filling the shemale fetish!"

No one is saying a flat out NO. we are saying "Make the character first. " not just a label shoved into a peg. for the sake of ticking a box.

What does the highlighted Word mean?

Basically, your biological sex and your gender are the same.
