I  AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF ALL THE CLOWNS IN HERE TROLLING IN MY TOPICS LEAVING REPLIES SAYING I AM TROLLING.

EITHER SOMEONE IS GOING TO EXPLAIN ALL THIS OR I AM GETTING MY MONEY BACK FOR THIS RETARDED UNPLAYABLE USELESS GAME


THE TACTICS SCREEN IS 100% USELESS there is nothing at all in the manual about what all these menus are used for


THERE ARE NO ATTACKS THAT CAN BE SET IN IT AT ALL ONLY HEALING MENUS ARE THERE, BUT IT'S STILL DOESNT' EXPLAIN HOW TO SET THOSE OR WHO TO SET THEM TO OR HOW TO USE THEM.
HOW TO SET IT UP
WHAT ANYTHING IN THE TACTICS MENU EVEN  MEANS
HOW TO EXECUTE IT
HOW IT WORKS
HOW TO KNOW WHAT FRIGGING CHARACTER YOU ARE USING IT ON.

Seriously guy, it's all basic gaming comprehension common sense stuff, just takes some time and go over it or just don't use it at all. I understand it just fine but I never use it, just pause the game and tell your guys what to do.

Ok as people say you only need to understand the basics of an if then type of logic to figure this out.



Oh and the explaination is on page 31 of the PDF manual.



Maybe ask someone else to take a look at it if you are finding it too hard. I'm sure other people are able to understand this your the first person I've seen post that they can't figure this out. Looks simple to me in the manual but then I do have years of IT experience guessing your new to computers generally or using an Xbox.

Why don't u cool off for awhile.. I followed some of your responces and your really on overload... I was frustrated at first but am in process of following some of the good advice that was suggested to you. Have you really tried to use the codex to get the explanation for using the Tactics menu?

This made my night I was laughing so hard.



I have about an 11hr file at this point and I figured all this stuff out on my own, I play PS3.

Once you get the hang of it the menu is easy to navigate and targetting things on the field becomes a breeze once you figure out the center target icon. Hell, I even just figured out how to set up effective tactics for each of my players about an hour ago. This game is freakin' sweet if you're into old-school table-top D&D.



but seriously kid, reach over about an eighth of an inch and turn off your CAPS LOCK!!!

Try to disable tacticts, play and than configure tactics and see the
differences.
