Let me take a crack at this...

The point of using the tactics system........is so you can use 'tactics' with your party.

I hope that is not too complicated for you.

If the dog is hungry, he goes to his bowl for food. If there is no food, he steals yours. If you cant figure out the tactics, you should just quit or play in easy mode.

I read a while back in the original dragon age forums, that these tactics menus or whatever you call them is what programs the ai. So i think i saw a couple of screenshots you had taken, and it said like enemy 30% health or something. I havn't actually played the game yet (wating for uni to be over) but i read in a dev post a while back that its like, for example, that an enemies health goes below 30% or the health of a party member goes below 30%, then the ai of your teammates will automaticly do a healing spell for example. So if a party member loses a certain amount of health, the member will automaticly heal her/himself.

I THINK thats what its supposed to be like, just some programming of a characters actions in certain situations.

Hopefully thats some help, i'll probobly know more about the situation once i actually play the game...

Also, i don't think you can get a refund, atleast thats what eb said to me, because it requires activiation online or something (like registering your cd key) so you won't be able to take it back... sorry.

I don't understand the problem. The tactics options are awesome and pretty much self explainatory. Just program it in to act the same way you would under given situations.

Do you have some sort of ADD condition, why should anyone explain this to you when all you do is rant abuse at everyone.

I'm sure EA will be very happy to explain the entire game to you over the phone if you like it's a premium rate number ;-)

THE TACTICS MENU IS SIMPLY NOTHING MORE BUT A LIST OF WHAT IS IN THE GAME.



THERE IS NOTHING IN THE TACTICS MENU THAT CAN BE SET TO DO ANYTHING TO ANY MEMBER IN YOUR PARTY...END OF STORY.



FOR EXAMPLE IT SHOWS THAT HEALUING CAN BE DONE...BUT IN ORDER TO HEAL YOURSELF, YOU HAVE TO EITHER OPEN UP YOUR INVENTORY AND USE A HEALING ITEM OR DRAG A HEALING ITEM TO YOUR QUICK BAR..



BUT THERE IS SURE AS HELL NO WAY TO HEAL ANY PARTY MEMBER AND YOU CANNOT SET THE TACTICS MENHU TO BE ABLE TO USE ANY HEALING ITEM TO HEAL YOU.



SO AS I SAID, THE TACTICS MENU WOULD BE OK IF YOU COULD SET THINGS UP, BUT SINCE YOU CAN'T, IT'S POINTLESS JUST AS I SAID.



ALSO NO ONE EXPLAINS HOW YOU DO THIS SO THAT PROVES YOU CANNOT USE THE TACTICS MENU TO SET ANYTHING UP,
