Well for the PS3 version the tactics explanation are on pages 31 and 32.  To be fair, I haven't played the game myself yet (waiting for my day next day off  of so I can really dive into it), but it sounds very straight forward.  It kind of reminds me of FF XII's Gambit system, only better since you don't have to spend skill points to unlock the really useful tactics.

In short, any problem you're experiencing must be operator error.

Deleted my post because question already answered wayyyy earlier.  Still getting used to this forum.  Sometimes it seems like when you get to the bottom of the first page it doesnt tell you that there will be another one so I thought the first page was all there was.  Apologies.  CAPS was because OP seemed to like to communicate that way.

I really dony understand your problem (probably because of the CAPS) but lets try to give you some answers. The tactics menu let you set a number of actions that your character takes in battle .

For example if you set as the first action swtich weapon you will see that at the beging of each battle your character change his/her's weapon . If you can understand thsi the rest of the option will start to make more sens .

I dont use that menu because i want to micromanage every step of the battle but from the options there you can make a prety decent set-up for yours characters.

If it is something more specific you dont understand ask maybe some one will answer your question but please loose the CAPS thing ...

TC should receive the idiot of the week award. Good god CHILD, calm down. Tactics are not that hard to figure out. I did it without a manual. Just mess around with them or just use the defaults. There are plenty of them.

I thought it's prety much self explanatory, you just need to read the different options to get to understand the vast possibilities the system offers.



It works with 2 statements, IF and THEN.

IF "selected event happens" THEN "Do this action"
