There should be an all male race like the asari, but instead of a bunch of hairy slobs they can be shredded and aesthetically pleasing. This could attract more female gamers.

I'm sure this thread is in jest, but just in case it isn't - OP, you do realize that the reason an all-female species works is because the females still reproduce via parthenogenesis? An all male species would be impossible. Similarly, this is why all-female species exist right here on Earth. The New Mexico Whiptail is an example - males previously existed in the species but have effectively gone extinct. Now, the species is all female, they reproduce via parthenogenesis and participate in a ritualistic mating behavior with other females of the species. Similar to the Asari.

Yes. Their skin will be bright red, their fingers will be tentacles, and their genitals will be on their foreheads.

Ah, the glorious Mensari.

They could be hermaphodites that have the out ward appearance similar to human males but internally have both, they are aliens after all , they don't need a womb they could lay eggs into a pouch like sea horses.

2 words Sea Horses.

Tthe thing is they need genetic diversity to breed. heck Asari are only female by our standards.

Breeding can be different simply because we have not seen it on earth dose not exclude it from existing else whare..

Don't forget the 'Amazonian' Ants as well.

Though if we are going to be more 'realistic' about it, the Asari probably should have looked less like vivacious space babes and more like the Rachni.

This is outer space...in the future. Where does it say that because it doesn't happen on Earth that it can't happen elsewhere in the universe?

Maybe the male gamete evolved to mature from a sperm into an adult on its own. Not sure how mixing of genes would work.

The only way I could see it working is for a species to reproduce some way other than giving birth, like if you cut one in half and both regrew to full individuals.  So, maybe that could work for something Vorcha-like or Hanar-like?

I believe there are all-male species, one of which is known as the squalius alburnoides. To my understanding of the article below, these males are able to reproduce with a sort of hybrid fish that is female. The result of this union always results in a non-hybrid of the squalius alburnoides species, thus keeping the species all-male.

You could have a race that grows its young in vats like Grunt. They presumably reproduced sexually in the past but [bad thing] happened and cloning was the only way to continue the species.

Actually we need another all-female race. Asari is no longer enough. We need to pick a new color though(oh irony). Just saying.
