Ok so this is the build I have now. My main questions is, should I swap out incendiary ammo for drill? I like incendiary because it gives me another explosion type besides biotic, and comes in handy against dragoons (shoot->orb(fire explosion->follow up shot if needed). But I found several times there enemies would take cover and the piercing mod wasn't cutting it. Should I use drill to bump up my killing time of other enemies and sacrifice fire explosions on dragoons? Maybe just orb->headshot on dragoon is good enough?

My main question is about ammo, but feel free to weight in on the rest of the build as well.

Yes, switch to drill.

You don't need fire explosions on that particular set-up. Arc Pistol w/drill should kill every Cerberus unit except the atlas in 1-2 shots. Drill is also useful for wallhax on maps like white, glacier, etc. Much more beneficial for atlas multi hits as well.

As for build, may I ask why you picked duration on stasis? 4b is what I'd go with.

I am a big fan of bonus power in stasis. With the build you are using, the difference in overall cooldown is roughly .3 seconds vs. a 30% chance of having a free stasis cast.  Personal preference, but I always enjoyed it when running low weight weapon loadouts.

I take duration on stasis because I put it in a choke point and freeze everything but dragoons. From what I remember the 150% more damage just means the damage cap until they fall out of stasis, which is really small anyway. It doesn't mean you do 150% more damage to the target. That's going off memory though, so if you want to clarify the differences that would be great.

Like you said, personal preference. I have a pretty large dislike for powers that have "a chance" to do anything. If it were "every 3 casts" or something like that, where I could keep track of it I'd like it a lot more. It's why double dash on PS is so nice on the Cabal, for me anyway.

@Disturbed: You're right about the way 150% damage works.

I use the CSMG on him and prefer the damage cap over a 3 sec increase in duration. Plus, I feel 7.8 seconds, especially with arc pistol is plenty to use stasis as a choke point. But that depends on style of gameplay, I guess.

You're right about how you interpret the 4b evo of Stasis. Drill is often the best choice VS Cerberus for multiple hits on Atlases, bubbled Panthoms and hiting enemies behind cover. This could however make your job a little harder VS Dragoons, putting more pressure on the quality of your aim.

About the build, I think the 4a evo in the passives (weapon damage) is a better choice for all adepts using light weapons and whom powers do individually low damage, hence for a volus adept with Arc Pistol. I would also take 5a for Shield boost (recharge speed), as I don't see the utility of 5b for a solo.

By the way I dislike too the bonus power evo, knowing that an option has a probability of 70% to not bring anything is too much for me.
