Now that I think about it, Friday afternoon I  was playing with a group fairly new to the game runnig a level 11 lego in threatning and hit level 20 assumed the double xp applied twice but now I don' know.

I'd wager that you eventually will (unknowingly).  The problem with this glitch is that you can't figure out you are in a glitched lobby until it's too late, after you see your XP total.  At that point, you will have already been red flagged by their system.  And then you have to constantly worry about being banned or not.

 

The difference between this glitch and missile glitching is that it's obvious someone is missile glitching - so you can quit out of the lobby right away.  With this lobby glitch, you can't tell until it's too late, and you have become an unknowing cheater.

How many accounts will bioware have to comb through to fix the users who gained promotions from the glitch unknowingly or otherwise? Will bioware have to manually fix each account?

The questions above seem like a lot of man hours and work. It is for that reason I think bioware will just fix the glitch, maybe issue a warning, and leave it at that.

I think I encountered that glitch once... (I wasn't hosting iirc) but I think all the players (at least the host) stayed in the lobby and the next match gave normal xp & gold

Lol at all the people thinking bioware will ever do anything about this. The guy who made the video regarding missile glitching and boasted about doing it never got banned.

Glitching and modding is stupidly easy on PC. Bioware has ZERO anti cheat. Seriously. If a tutorial video surfaces on this and gains popularity then PC is going to be a mess of modded lobbies.

I think I found out how the glitch is caused, I'm going to try to report the issue. I did it unintentionally, I think seeing as I was the only one playing a certain class. I don't think I should get banned for this, I didn't know I was causing the glitch. I was able to cause it twice but who is to say that is the exact cause, I think it's a memory leak that cause the glitch. Well, I reported it and will see what happens.

No I'm fine, I tried to reproduce it as host and it didn't work. 

 

I agree those cheaters should be banned!  Muhahahaha!

If bioware cared that this was going on they would have announced that those using the exploit will be banned. All they have said is that they are looking into it. For those doing it I say go for it, cause if bioware isn't going to use the ban hammer, enjoy the extra Xp while it lasts.

I believe the timeframe is too short. It was a weekend and I do not think they will ban anyone, they didn't even give a warning notice on the game. They may review the damage and "take back" some abuse at the most with a warning and a notice for the "next time". In essence, damage is done, repairs made, worst case is some people got a lot more promotions than they deserve but we don't get credit when bugs take away our runs either. The fade step glitch was worst, it went on for a long time and people knew when they were "cheating". This has been beaten to death already...

edit - I missed out on the weekend except for quick event runs so others had a lot of fun
