I've been looking through some body parts and textures for making clothing but I've come across one issue. In making the 'Harley-fit' I need to have a texture that is asymmetrical for the torso. It also has to be skin tight so I've been looking through both clothing and nude body models/textures and nothing I seem to find isn't symmetrical. Does anyone know of one that is asymmetrical?

There was a half metal, half flesh sort of torso (may have been male only) in the D20 clothing Hak...

Also seem to recall one or two torso parts, male and female, with tattoos on only one side (which must therefore have asymmetric textures) in KilanaEvra's JenX clothing pack, which had some useful bits and pieces in it - as well as some very perplexing articles indeed.

I can probably dig up one or more of them, if you can't locate anything yourself.

(Of course, you're theoretically going to need an asymmetric pelvis too...)

Thanks PHoD, I'll look into that.

Still needs a bit of touch up. The shin, leg, and bicep textures are altered standard textures. Pretty low rez so I can't get as much detail out of the design as I want. I'll keep an eye out for a higher rez texture for those parts that I can alter. So far though... not bad. Just need a head.

If you need some references for Harley's head here are a couple of links to some images. First a new picture on deviantArt. Then a google image search for Harley Quinn's head.

Still working out details around the face. Need to add the mask, and move some polys around to get the shape of the face a little better. Also work that jaw so that the hood doesn't go all up on the face. Thanks to TheBarbarian for giving me a hand with mesh work.

I've finally freed up some extra time and have started building the carnival! Figured this way I could figure out exactly what extra I need. And yes, the colors are meant to be completely unrealistic. It's a carnival after all.

I've got a quick question for everyone. THESE have worked wonders for me, but it only has the smaller tno tents made as placeables. I was wondering if anyone has ever clipped any of the larger 2X2, or the 2X3 tents out of the tno tilesets? I'd like to be able to use more than just this one size, and my gmax-fu isn't quite up to par yet for clipping tileset pieces and putting them together.

Also do any of you have any carnival game-like scripts? I have a number myself, and there are a few I'm going to try and work out, but options and ideas would be welcome!

Finally done with the suit. Working on the face.

Decided after several horribly failed attempts to drop the little diamond shapes on the bicep, thigh, and shin. Much as I tried even after blowing up the resolution of the texture the curvature of the body parts would always make them look strangely oblong, or stretch too far, or be too small. I left the diamonds on the back of the pelvis though. This suits me well.

Head still needs some work, but figured I'd finish that with the rest of my heads. On to leggings and the like.

IF nobody has cut out the bigger TNO tents along the dotted lines already, I'll happily do that for you...

I can probably use them myself, with the poster textures changed to something probably involving the word "Spleen".

Just say if you still need the tents and I'll get a brick to them.

Brick away, my friend. Brick away. I also want to alter the posters and such. It'll work great to have them. I imagine they'd be quite useful for just about everyone. I'll even throw them in a pack with the rest of this circus stuff when I'm done for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks again, PHoD!

I was kind've going to dump them on the Vault in a small box marked "Tents" myself, since I lack any file hosting whatsit and the Project pages here are demised (at least as far as new ones go). All comes of having no internet of my own and doing everything through someone who reacts to the words "free registration" in much the same way as "appalling plague-spewing abomination".

Anyway, I shall apply a brick to Tent Tiles and then start carefully sewing all the loose flappy pieces together.

Got it. Shall pin it to my nose so I can't lose it...

I'll try to get Tents to you ASAP so you can carry on with designing your Areas without having to just imagine roughly tent-sized blobs...

(Ouch. Never try pinning stuff to your nose. It hurts).

Anyway.... I've got a nice string of electric bulbs. Managed to figure out how to make the bulbs transparent, but does anyone know a noob-resistant way of making them have a slight glow? Nothing too intense. Just enough to make it stick out a bit at night. I tried self-illumination, and it works pretty well but I'd kind of like to get a real glow if possible.

For a real glow you'd need lights. Just placing one light in the middle of that string would look weird and having lots of lights will cause too much lag.

Fair advice. Would look silly with that flare sitting in the middle of it.

Made a few more colors to give variety.

Got distracted, sorry. Have now peeled adhesive Jellyfish off myself. Thus slightly delayed...

Have now got Medium Tents finished. Working on Big Tents. Will email them to you inside 24 hours.

As I don't want to go cluttering up your thread with soggy heaps of festering old canvas, see PHoD Things thread for futile images of Tents everybody has seen a billion times before... only not necessarily in such odd places.

First of a number of game placeables. This one will be a 'Test of Strength'. I was going to go for the whole mallet and bell thing, but I realized after my first test I couldn't predict which smashing animation would work with a two handed weapon. Looked weird beating the side of the placeable when they were supposed to be hitting the bottom. This works well enough. Textures are from the Medieval City by Zwerkules. Used them to match the tileset I use for the city. I hate it when random objects look way out of place because of vastly different textures. Wood is probably the worst culprit.

I have now completed Large and Medium Circus Tent Placeables by jumping up and down on them and kicking the stuffing out of them with a big brick... a brick tied to my foot, obviously... (see PHoD Things - for tents, that is, not bricks on feet).

Shall email them forthwith. Have fun.

KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid

Indeed! Realizing that tents were not the best place to hang metal ringed solid wood signs from I decided to make my own. Checked out some circus pictures. Reminded me about these little foldable signs. Easy to texture, easy to edit. I'll probably do a lot more than just random circus signs with these in the future.

Texture text is a bit hard to read. Probably should have used a larger portion of the texture for it and picked a different font. No matter. Retexturing this is just one TGA. I'll enclose a PSD file with the appropriate layers for easy editing when I release.
