Epic chests

 

I just had to salvage 2 superb rings of lifedrain and dozens of dragon weapons.

 

And I only spent 150k

 

Now to test my new daggers and greatsword

Spent about 48,000 simoleons on the new chests last night.  Remarkable purple rate that is for sure.  Had purples coming out of my ears  (also had a 4 purple chest).  Two extra heart string bows, about 3 extra dragon weapons, a new shield and dagger I had not seen before, another purple belt of health lots of others.  And yes in my last chest of the day I did get a superb HOK ring!

 

Since I already had two of those though I just went to the Undercroft and gave it to Dagna to be melted down.  She mentioned that other members of the Inquisition might be able to use such a fine ring but I needed some new studs for my undead horses horse shoes so we just melted the sucker down instead.

You can still craft them like you did before from the weapons crafting menu.

Just do what I do, stand next to the gong yelling 'over here friends!' until they get disgusted and ring the gong themselves.  Will save you on crafting supplies.

I'm really interested in these scores you build up for looting chests and such.  (Still not sure how this calculation works.)  I've been a serial looter from early on so I probably have a very high chest score, score.

The irony? I pulled out a purple Staff of the Dragon and two purple Dagger of the Dragons this week from store chests, so it is finally giving me SOME type of HoK.
 
I just think it's a bit hilarious that, at this rate, all my characters will have weapons with native HoK loooooong before I ever (if I ever) get a Superb HoK ring. 
 
EDIT: Also, I plonked down a lot of gold and Platinum every time class chests dropped, too. Where a lot of folks got their first purple HoK rings finally. But not me. Never me.

Look at the positive side you will get one when you get the Hakkon weapons and need the HoK rings!

You'll get your Superb one day Dragon. I remember back during ME3MP I had roughly 600 hours on me before I ever got the Hurricane.

I got my first HoK ring the last time we had the class chests, but by that time i hardly needed it any more. Dragon weapons and their HoK effects covered most of my characters, and the rest was covered by tier 3 weapon upgrades to daggers and bows. I'm quite in love with my 30% HoK Punched by the maker.

superb Hok ring must have been made the easiest to get from this chest or something, got two of them just within 10-15k spent. now if only i could wear more than two...

I have salvaged 9 Superb HoK rings and I still have 4 on me (only because those 4 are assigned to characters and I can't be bothered sorting them out to salvage 2 of them)

2.3million gold and still no Caliban though
