The new trailer for Suicide Squad dropped at Comic-Con. Gotta say I'm still iffy about Jared Leto's Joker, but the rest looks interesting at the very least. I can say it'll be cool to see these villains in action on the big screen.

Has there ever really been a bad interpretation of Joker in live action? He has to be the easiest character for actors to portray. Just go over the top Id and you pretty much got Joker.
Some of this dialogue is just awful. Although unlike most I like Leto's Joker - at least his delivery. I think he gets full on psycho well enough, even if I dislike the look.

Yeah I noticed some of that dialogue too lol.
I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with Leto as Joker, but I mean Ledger has since immortalized the role as his own. And since that's basically the "standard" I'm just a little hesitant. I will say I both like the look and a dislike it. I like it because it's such drastic change, the tattoos make him look more unique. But I still think it's weird lol.
All in all, regardless of my reservations, I'll try and keep an open mind about it until I see the film.
The Tattoos are a bit out there. But considering The Jokers whole deal is to change his look and act at any given time it's not all that far off. And at least he's not a shoeless kung fu monster man like The Batman one.
As I've said. This movie could go either way. And Katana looks boss. So there's that.
I don't think this is going to be anything like TDK or MoS in terms of dialogue quality or even narrative quality or depth.
Pretty sure this is badass villains blowing **** up with style and with cheesy references and one-liners. Which if it's done well I'm all for it.

I don't remember if it was an interview or podcast that Seth Green was on (I think). And he said anytime a movie mentioned it's title in the movie he'd go "Wooo!" in the middle of the theater. I plan on doing that tbh.

Actually I'm okay with Joel Kinnaman having the role. I mean RoboCop aside, he's actually a good actor. I love him on The Killing.
I'm coming right out and saying it, this movie does not look good. In fact, it looks like the most tonally confused train wreck I've seen in some age.
Like, "Hey, what's big right now? Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy? Cool. Let's do a light-hearted movie about a team of misfits joining together then, and let's make it covered in enough grim-dark edgelord sauce to make it fit the rest of our films".
They're going through the motions of either trying to make it funny or trying to make it serious. I can't tell which one, but somethings gone terribly wrong between how this movie is being shot, and the content of the film itself.

It looks like the later. Because he's on top of that car, then it cuts to Harley in a car. Also there's a Superman reference in there too.
