I still find using the CSR without burst fire style still useful and relevant. It's called headshots. One quick continues burst one shot KO with CSR feels very good. Try it with a stagger power or stasis to make it even easier. So I usually only save the tapping method for bosses.

Incindiary Ammo is also best for CSR due to very high fire rate.

OT - just had a few waves with the Indra just now. Trying to think of what other kits to try this weapon on when I start playing again later today. As I usually mostly used the Indra on SE in the past.

I mostly use increased damage and acuracy mods. That is the mods i find useful,

Sustained fire on the csr isn't too smart because after a few rounds it starts using up double ammo without doing extra damage, that's why everyone says to pulse it, it doesn't use double rounds that way.

Why it dont matter much for mook headshots. ie. staggger power to headshot to reapeat. Just dont forget to rinse as well. Because shinny hair is important against the Reaper forces too.

I was looking for a character to use the Indra on, and saw ShuGaming use it on the GI. I'm not a fan of ARs, but for some reason I find myself going back to the GI a lot more now. Great fun with disruptor rounds.

If you can aim those double rounds will get the best of your target, thats why the gun is so good! I

I can't tell if you're joking but like I said it doesn't do double damage when it starts using double rounds, it's just bugged so that sustained fire is a waste of ammo.

This gun is really great for headshots...say a spawn of cerb troopers are in front of you..if you start by aiming at one of their chests..with the kick..and if the troops are close together..you can rack up 3 headshots in like 2-3 seconds

I see, i was however under the impresion that it did double damage. But yes, pulsing  is a good idea anyway. Then you dont need to run back to the depot all the itme.

Are we talking about the same gun? The collector sniper rifle which automatically regenerates ammo? Maybe you're just trolling me at this point but I'm at work and bored and tired and I don't care so I'm just gonna reply seriously anyway.

Oh well no I was originally replying to someone talking about the csr, I said sustained fire on the csr isn't smart, csr meaning collector sniper rifle, I guess we just misunderstood each other. What I was saying about double ammo use without extra damage was in reference to a bug on the collector sniper rifle, as far as I know the indra isn't bugged in any way.

Yes the Indra is a solid weapon.  For pure sniping, I prefer the BW, Javelin, or even Valiant... but its a nice hybrid weapon on many kits.  The high ROF can lead to multiple head-busting.
