Never cared much about the romance plots other than for a little diversion, but where are the dwarven LI?Dwarves are my favourite fantasy race.Playing a dwarven warrior inquisitor but sadly no dwarf he could romance.Dagna has been my favourite dwarven lady since DA O.A dwarf who wants to become a mage, hehe.I loved her sidequest and now the suprise when i saw her in skyhold as "the arcanist".
And there is scout harding!...At least we get to flirt a little with her.
Also still no varric...hehe yeah i know he's got his bianca.
I might add that in DA I the female dwarves are the most attractive of all races, good job Bioware!
Maybe they think dwarves are born from the stone...three games and not one dwarf to romance?

I'd go for Male dwarf romances, but I'm not interested in the ladies as much. I like cross-pairing, and so, if there were male dwarf romances, I would probably be anything but. I like Dagna, but not enough to want to romance her. Harding is a maybe. I actually like her attitude and her character.

Because I am obligated to post the statistics every single time someone makes one of these threads: so far BioWare have written full romances with forty humans, eleven aliens, eight elves, two half-elves, a Tiefling, a nymph, an azer and a one-eyed Qunari. And zero dwarves. (Apparently an azer is a bit like a dwarf, only on fire, but his romance is in a NWN premium module that I've never played.)

Some day, my dwarf prince - or possibly princess, I'm not picky at this point - will come. I have hopes for DA4. At this point I've been waiting patiently for fifteen years, though, so I can wait a few more.

I'm telling you, Scout Harding's flirts were Bioware's equivalent of 'dipping their toes' into the world of dwarf romances.  Put a flirt option for Harding.  Check the metrics to see how many people select that option.  If it's a significant number, bring her into the sequel as the "returning companion" type character (even though she's not really a companion).  "The Inquisitor sends his/her regrets that s/he cannot publicly support your endeavors, but sends along a token of his/her appreciation" (enter Scout Harding - female dwarf ranged rogue companion and bisexual (no race gate) romance option).  Voila!

Also, I read this title in the style of Beyonce's Single Ladies.  Just saying......

Dagna is my favorite minor NPC since DAO, but I wouldn't want to romance her. I don't think she's the type for romance, either, but I would like her as a close friend, and a companion in my next Fade expedition.

I'm still staunchly of the opinion that Harding should have more romantic content with the Inquisitor in future DLC so she wasn't just leading us on.

Or if nothing else they should add her interactions with the Inquisitor to the Keep. That big thorn covered heart in the Inquisition section just doesn't seem accurate to me.

I was surprised that Harding was not romance-able, since she's the only person worthy of romance in mein opinion in le entire game - mainly 'cause Leliana ain't 'bout that life anymore. And it's not even the fact that she's a dwarf, she's just an interesting character.

Though, if we're to look at the big picture, there's a lack of dwarf companions in general, not just LI's. I think the only answer that makes sense here is... This game's racialist.

That's one thing that always got me about these games. Your character can be a dwarf/elf/qunari but most of the time your romance options are several varieties of human, especially if you're playing a male character. Male elves/dwarves/qunari just get no love from their people (aside from Zev/Iron Bull, some Origins NPCs).

Scout Harding would've been great out of any of them when it comes to dwarves too, something along the lines of a Josephine/Solas arc.

Thinking DA4 might be a possibility. Maybe. I'm still waiting on a proper non-gated (by gender or race) elven romance or two to come, so good luck with the dwarves.

If DA4 takes place in Tevinter, then there might not be any dwarves and elves might all be slaves. Althrough Tevinter does have history with the dwarves helping them out on things. So maybe it could work. But many not if the player character is form a noble house like Dorian and is expected to enter an arranged marriage.
