There's a reason why other gaming devs have avoided making romance options a thing in their games(or if they do they limit it heavily), it's so they can avoid being inundated with the nonsense that you regularly see on this forum.

Bioware and its fans have a really bad rep among other gamers and are seen as losers obsessed with having relationships with pixels, and lets just say that the nonsense discussion that has been going on since the Andromeda section opened up isn't exactly doing much to change that view.

I agree with OP the amount of time/words the fandom is dedicating to romances is so ridiculous. I hope they get their own section so that we can just ignore them and those interested can still write there debating about the gender of angels.

There's not really a whole lot that can be said about gameplay besides pointing out mistakes in previous games when all we have is a 2 minute trailer that have been overanalyzed, it will come with time, at least i hope so.

 

That said, a whole lot of the threads currently on this forum are troll threads, and people fall for them all. A lot of people on this board have a very hard time seeing intended satire, irony and sarcasm.

Where are the discussions about the Sci-Fi and TPS/RPG aspects? The importance of coherent, meaningful,

and engaging story, the concept of "choices and consequences", etc.

You can almost never find them.
