Romance is here to stay. And I'm just okay with that.

Your hostility towards Verner is ... puzzling, flamer.

I have to say I was one of the people who miserably failed to see the irony of these treads early on, but now I'm pretty much just let the Vorcha burn them all while I give my maniacal evil laugh in the sidelines

And give us a break, there's not really much to talk about the game now anyway, we might just well speculate whose butt will be on screen 90% of the game regardless we want to see it or not lol

Can you burn other parts of the forum too, or is it just this one?

I'll pay you....in ummm... fish. You like fish, right?

So let's talk about the elephant in the room: The overabundance of "romance" threads. (or rather gender war battlegrounds)

This overabundance sometimes serves to amuse, and other times acts as a peculiar pressure on my brain area.

(Indoctrination theory? Speculations for everyone...)

As amusing as they sometimes are, those kinds of threads just convince me more and more that the concept of "romance"

should be shot in the head and then burned.

This is supposedly a forum for a Sci-Fi TPS/RPG video game.

Where are the discussions about the Sci-Fi and TPS/RPG aspects? The importance of coherent, meaningful,

and engaging story, the concept of "choices and consequences", etc.

You can almost never find them.

Instead this forum looks more like a madhouse on fire, and the hottest topics have nothing to do with Sci-Fi or RPGs,

but are merely a tame version of the unholy place of Blood Fire Tears and Despair, also referred to as Tumblr.

Video game developers are pulled in a million directions at once, is it a wonder that so many games just fall flat on their face?

This was mentioned in other threads, but it bears repeating:

Dear Developers, please get rid of this monster called "romance" and all the baggage that comes with it.

This is not solving any equality issues, this just creates another battleground for brave internet warriors to spill virtual blood in.

Well said and I know another solution which does not involve shutting down romances - special forum. You know, the one they keep killing for being "too aggressive" (funny enough then they have to kill related topics on every other sub-forum). Or another approach - special sub-forum for lore\technical details discussion. Separation keeps readers happy.

Wait, are the romance threads about a different game?  Because I thought they were about ME, a Sci-FI TPS/RPG video game with romances.

Also, they are not mandatory.  I am sick of the overabundance of TW3-DA: I threads on the DA: I subforum.  So I avoid them.  And my life is much more stress free because of it.

Funny thing, i'm currently indexing the TW3 feedback thread because people kept asking and i'm not shocked at all there are more political correctness/incorrectness related posts than any other category so far.
