there's close to no humans in the Qun because the BioWare writers have written it so

And? The life of humans is very close to ours, minus the technology, therefore it was a logical choice on Bioware's part.

Are you worried about purpose daily? Or are you worried about things everyone are worried about? There are very few who give a damn, but the vast majority doesn't.

But why though? Give me one good reason why BioWare would or should do that.

I don't see why not.

There are several humans Qunari in Seheron and Rivain. A lot of Qunari settlements were destroyed in several Exalted Marches, the ones who didn't want do convert to the Chantry were killed and buried in shallow graves.
So they do exist.

Never said they don't, but they are a very small minority, as I previously stated explicitly.

We don't know the ratio of humans among the Qunari, but I'm sure they are the second largest race among the Qun.

I'd bet that the Qun attracts more elves than humans, since the former typically gets dealt a worse hand in general society.

I don't know, Seheron was a human Island and they have a large settlement in Rivain.
We must not forget that humans peasants don't have it easy too.

Saying that qunari are more prone to Qun than humans is like saying that arabs are more prone to Islam. If humans were born in Qun 99% of them would stay in Qun.

Wait, what was the topic again?

More interesting things than the original topic.

But don't take my argument out of context. I said when vast majority of people are middle class, like how we are right now, no one thinks about purpose or order.

But religion also plays a part, the peasants take everything the Chantry says as fact. The people of Rivain have their own beliefs, its neither the Qun nor the chantry. As for Seheron, The Qunari use everything. Someone has to work the mines, and that'll be the humans in Seheron, unless they convert.

Also I think there is a codex about elves being the second in the Qun.

I always assumed everyone treated pretty much "equal" as equal you can expect from society with no personal freedom. But other species are not bread only true grey ones qunari.
