Screw humanity.
I want to see some diversity in terms of actual 'alien' aliens.

There are about as many major characters who are Asian than they are who are black, actually: Kaidan (mixed, from Singapore), Kasumi , Traynor (Indian), Kai Leng ; Jacob, Anderson, Maya. There's also a couple of latinos: Vega, Ashley, Cortez, Hackett. A lot more who are racially ambiguous. All in all I think Bioware actually did a pretty good job at having a pretty diverse human cast.

The way it should be. Us and them. Humans good. Aliens bad.
Not hard to figure out.

I think you will be disappointed we humans will be in new galaxy not our galaxy we will be invaders, If game theme is save as trailers song theme. I think it would be something like should we trade platinum with these "savages" or take it by force. And in some main plot quest we will be forced to be the bad guys who invading planet. And something witch makes us question what we do is it good. we do it for our people so it's good or is it?

There were quite a few Asians in ME, though they had a tendency to fall into stereotypes:
Evil Corporate Asians: Jeong
Good Girl Asians: Emily Wong, Sam Traynor, Grace Sato
Ninjas: Kai Leng, Kasumi Goto
Corporate Samurai: Maeko Matsuo ("Anoleus-sama" really? What is this, 80's cyberpunk?)
All we were missing was a wizened sage/buddhist monk.
The least stereotypical Asians in the franchise IMO, were Fai Dan and Samesh Bhatia. Sometimes I wish Bioware would write their characters and assign race/gender randomly at the end after the character's personality and story are already fleshed out. I feel like they are obviously trying to be inclusive but then sabotage themselves by subconsciously making their characters conform to stereotypes. For example, I thought Jacob and his father were treated abominably by the writers.

Bad guys invading the planet?
We're humans man.
We're not bad guys.
We're enlightened beings bring civilization and culture to these savages and barbarians.
It's our noble burden to be a guiding light and beacon for all the lesser races of the universe.
If they want to rise above their station to be the respectable servants to us that they can be, they're going to have to learn a thing or two about humanity.

When Kasumi was first announced I was dreading that she was going to be Maeko, except part of the Normandy crew. Although they went the space ninja route i liked at least that her dialogue didn't make her sound like an extra from Shōgun.

What about fat people? It's like everyone works out daily for an hour. In ME1 we had one heavyset cop - Eddie Lang. How come no more? Mass Effect: home to the beautiful people - except we don't know what's under the masks or behind those pressure suits.
Speaking as a "big-boned" person, Eddie barely qualifies.

From the writer who built the core of the MEU, Chris L'Etoile
We tried to represent as many ethnicities as possible -- Indian (Nirali and Samesh Bhatia, Dr. Chakwas), Spanish (Arcelia Silva Martinez), Japanese (Maeko Matsuo, Hana Murakami), Russian (Yaroslav Tartakovsky, Admiral Mikhailovich), French or other francophone (Lt. Girard, Marie Durand, Dr. Chloe Michel), Scottish (Kaira Stirling), Israeli (Dr. Zev Cohen), Arabic (Khalisa bint Sinan al-Jilani), Korean (Ethan Jeong), Italian (Gianna Parasini), and Irish (Macha Doyle, May O'Connell). There was also a major Nigerian character who unfortunately had to be cut (that was the aforementioned Caleston/Cree Summer character).
Constructing accurate and respectful names is hard, but the real obstacle is voice actors. Most of them are not bi- or tri-lingual. As Taky pointed out, the object is someone who can speak clearly and act. Realistic accents aren't a priority; in fact they're often a hindrance to clarity for English-native listeners. In ME2, I added characters with Sinhalese South Indian and Finnish names. I was scrambling to find people who could help me write out phonetic pronunciations so the English VAs could actually say them. (Fortunately, BioWare has a very diverse staff; there was a South Indian in the room next to me.)
It's part of the culture around here. Edmonton is the most casually multicultural city I've ever lived in. Any given day I can walk through the grocery store and see Hindu women in traditional robes, Malyasian Muslim women with their heads covered, and couples conversing in Mandarin or Korean (yes, there is an audible difference). One of the best vegetarian restuarants in town is the Ethiopian place down on Whyte. Hell, for that matter I can run into people conversing in rapid-fire Spanish and Russian in the office. After five years here, it no longer occurs to me that this is odd.

Ms. Traynor, Asian? Source?
It's not outright stated but it's implied that she's of Indian/South Asian origin. For example during the quiet party in the Citadel DLC Kaidan and EDI are arguing about how much curry they should use, Kaidan asks Sam to back him up and she answers "Oh, so I'm supposed to be the expert on curry ?"
Also Patrick Weekes said he imagined her as mixed race British Indian.

iirc, I think there was a codex entry saying that stuff like obesity was phased out of human society thanks to genetic modification. I'd have to double-check to be sure, though.
Yep it was

Well hopefully it's just trolling/roleplaying, since that sounds exactly like "the white man's burden", just change humans with white men and lesser races of universe to "lesser races of earth". Pretty colonialist and racist ^^;

Pretty sure you didn't play Mass Effect because there are plenty of Asians in the series about average same as Blacks. If anything Mass Effect maybe one of the most diverse games doesn't compare to GTA but still decent enough. Would like to see more sure.

Yeah unfortunately it's hard to tell with some people though.
