What about chubby people? Thoughts?
The Mass Effect series represents people of broadly North American type. As everyone knows, all North Americans are simultaneously muscular, sylph-like, and graceful. So chubbies have no place in the series. Hollywood bodies or GTFO.
Holyshit pro slavery arguments?
Apparently morally bankrupt people with power complexes got Internet access now. Shocker.
Logically, anyone dumb enough to believe in slavery has already shown that it's their best only career option. so they should put their money where their mouth is - as the expression goes - and become my slaves. (I wouldn't want sentient beings as slaves, but they've already shown they aren't, so it's a win-win. They get their belief in slavery validated, and I get my toilets cleaned free of charge.)

Lmao, Bioware thought them a lesson.
Protheans had that system and UTTER FAILED against the reapers. The consensus of races won against the reapers. Its actually acknowledged in the game.
So let them burn and seethe.

On the contrary, the Protheans were winning the war against the Machines until the Reapers arrived, and even then they almost defeated the Reapers.Lmao, Bioware thought them a lesson.

Without the Protheans, the new cycle would never had a chance against the Reapers. No altered siginals on the keepers, no Conduit no Crucible, no knowledge on what is the Catslyst

Without the Protheans, the new cycle would never had a chance against the Reapers. No as altered siginals on the keepers, no Conduzir, no Crucible, no knowledge on what is the Conduit.
It was not their knowledge, it was passed on for millenium. The knowledge to defeat the reapers was advanced and passed to another cycle many, many times.
And the machines THEY created you mean? The consensus shares experiences and mistakes, therefore only Quarians (and accidentally at that) created machines that were a threat.
When Javik admits that it works, you know it works.

The Crucible? No, but still if it wasnt the Protheans the new cycle would never know about it.
How do you know they ceated it? Javik said they encoutered these Machines, not created.
He admited that it might work, still it only worked because of the Protheans.

Yes it works, I'm not talking about naive system of everyone being equal. The council races were clearly superior to other races, but the other races were not enslaved.
Imagine if Prothean had a single ally in the conflicts, any of the current council races for example. They would have easily defeated the reapers. "One ring to rule them all" ideology is doomed to fail. They sheer number of traitors alone will destroy it, as Javik makes it clear.

Alright, yea, no-one actually wants ugly fatso models. Just take "normal" ME characters and add some chubbiness.

I always thought they did a decent job of showing a variety of ethnicities and mixed ethnicities in ME. I think what fools people is that culture isn't visibly portrayed at all in the ME universe for humans (also UE3 might've been limiting), and that's understandable as you're in the military or in space the whole time. I do think it would be interesting to walk around on the Ark and run into people living personal lives and showing culture being preserved that way whether they're human or alien.
As for fat people, I assume to get off earth you have to have a certain fitness level.

Normal people have quite diverse body types.
Being chubby isn't normal though. I know we're dealing with an obesity pandemic to a degree that we're starting to think it's normal to be fat or even chubby, some people go as far as to promote fat acceptance, which is simply disgusting. Being fat or chubby is not healthy nor is it normal and it should never be considered normal.

Overweight and underweight can be unhealty, but if you aren't really under or over, it's much more unhealthy to drink alcohol or smoke. And people usually aren't condemn on those either. There is no point obsessing over weight either especially if it's someone's else's weight.

No need for that, they just should get off their lazy fat asses, get in shape and set a good example for their children instead of breeding a generation of morbidly obese kids.

That is false. The number one cause of death is heart failure, which often is caused by morbid obesity.
Obesity is killing more people in the west than smoking is.
