Hello!
In virtually all RPGs, especially in multiplayer, there is a healer character / class.
How about Bioware bring Spirit Healer in multiplayer DAI?
The two skill trees are: Healing and Protection.
Follows suggestions:

Healing

Active abilities:
???? (upgrade): healing mist spell version? Good?
Revival (Lifeward): no need to push button to revive. Please, allow us this.
Dispel (Transmute Magic): remove status
Resurgence: healing glyph

Passive abilities:
????: +3 Constitution, Willpower and Magic
Death Siphon: healing with dead enemies
Peaceful Aura:
Winter Stillness:
Mana Surge:
Restorative Veil:
Smothering Veil

Protection

Active abilities:
Barrier (Elegant Defense)
Static Cage (Lightning Cage)
Wall of Fire (Lasting Flames)
Wall of Ice (Glacial Strength)
Pull of the Abyss (Shaken)

Passive abilities:
Guardian Spirit:
Strength of Spirits:
Rejuvenating Barrier:
Combat Clarity:
Fade Shield:
Knight-Protector:
Veiled Riposte:
Encircling Veil:
Twisting Veil:

This character has the main concept of healing, remove status, revive, protect, paralyze enemies and inflict damage too.
Some people like to play as healers and protectors.
Bioware might consider, at least in multiplayer.

Multiplayer is the reason why healing magic isn't a thing anymore.  They want you to spend real money or virtual credit for potions. So I can't imagine it ever happening.

I understand your point.

But I think that it is possible with some adjusts.

Or each new multiplayer character will have just the same skills with variations from the others.

So no need to new characters in multiplayer. If it is to have the same skills, the existing characters are enough.

And to enourage you spending real money, they limit the number of healing potions you can equip to two and give you potions in every pack you purchase with in-game currency.

Yup, nothing like changing the lore of an entire series to make a few bucks on pay to win garbage.

I'm not interested in actually defending the MP portion of the game, but I would note that this change actually brought the combat mechanics in line with the lore of the series from the beginning.

The only ones casting healing spells in battle are spirit healers, which are vanishingly rare.

Can we agree that healing potions shouldn't immediately heal then? I think they should be a HoT thing if anything.

Otherwise Tommy I agree with that; I'd really like for regeneration magic to make a comeback WITH our barrier/guard system. It's be a fantastic idea. (FOR ME).

Personally, I wouldn't have objected to having another special snowflake spirit healer companion again - but that wouldn't have worked if the spec wasn't open to the inquisitor as well, I suppose.

Even if I like healing magic, I think the pots are fun and different, at any rate. Last boss in HoF required every last trick I had with them, which I appreciated.

Thank you for feedback.
I see no problems in having Spirit Healer in multiplayer and should not even be a problem.
The character can be of great help in the new difficulty modes of multiplayer.
The character would not overpower, with some healing spells, protection and few offensive spells. It is a balanced character.
It's a character for those who like to be the team supports and without relying on items.
We need more diversity in multiplayer characters.

Ahhh.. but then MP would say that's unfair and to them they wouldn't be wrong for that. :o

Yet virtuoso has rejuv magic from what I recall? Would like to see that in SP..
