Honestly, I'd rather they just include the MP abilities in SP instead of cooking up even more new stuff.

Except bigger explosions, environmental damage, and Pull able to lift larger objects. Like cutscenes or the books.

Crushing grip for Adept. Somewhat similar to Geth Juggernaut close range attack. Damages and immobilizes small enemies and slows down big, while you sustain ability.

A Power to assist in Tanking yes - there are enough defensive Powers, but what I would like to see is something that allows us to protect Allies. I would imagine it being a projected Shield, restoring the Shields of a Companion on Cost of our own. or something.

Interesting. I was thinking of something along similar lines - a shield drone for either Sentinel or Engineer. This would act like a floating shield pylon that you cast on one of your squadmates, following them around and periodically restoring their shields or barrier.
The drone would have a limited number of charges and could be destroyed by enemies. Its upgrades could be a choice between going offensive or providing further support. e.g. One upgrade branch could give the drone the ability to drain enemy shields at close range, while the other could give it the ability to revive the squadmate (once) if they went down.
The Geth Turret already restores shields of allies. The Juggernaut can place a Hex Shield to protect itself and its allies. The Volus have Shield Boost and can top off the shields of everyone in the area.
