Will we have a Solas appearance instead of Flemeth? Or do you rekon they're kinda done with that story arc and she'll disappear for a while?
So, in DA4...

It's unclear at this point. Morrigan may have a role to play if the early dev note-fueled rumor that Flemeth was sending her "godhood" to her proves true. Solas does have some role to play in the future and he might be the new Flemeth in his own way, but we need to get all of Inquisition's DLC first in order to have any real idea. Solas is all but guaranteed to play some part in DLC, especially as, if we get a new protagonist next time, it's the last chance for possible closure between him and a romanced Inquisitor.

If he shows up in a DLC, I suspect it'll work similarly to how Witch Hunt did. A brief reunion before he goes off on his Mission for good, with flavor changes depending on whether you loved him or hated him (even Inquisitors he wasn't dating or pals with have reasons for wanting closure there, too, after all). Then he'll show up again "for real" in a future game. There's no way they'll wrap his story up/kill him off in just a DLC after that Flemeth reveal.

I don't think that Flemeth is gone. You had the option to kill her in DA:O and in DA2 one of her "pieces" returned. There could be more pieces of her out there and she took the precaution of this "piece" because she anticipated that her own daughter would kill her. I'm sure she made similar precautions for the Dread Wolf.

It'd be cool if we got a chance to shank that thunder-humper.

I don't know... Until now, Witches of the Wilds have only been stabbed by ignorant powerless fools, this would be the first time that one of them ends up being screwed by someone at the same level, it will be harder for Flemeth to come back this time, and if she does, I don't think (and certainly I don't want) DA4 would be the game for it.
The next game it's said to take place on the north of Thedas, I think Bioware should let Morrigan and Flemeth rest for a game and instead develop more someone else that could fit better than them, I think that either Solas or Yavana deserve that, given that both could easily fit on the plot, I also hope see Shale again.

I don't think it would matter who killed or or how she died. If there is another whole, functioning Flemeth out there she will be fine, granted we know nothing about the different pieces of Flemeth and how they work. Flemeth should most definitely come back for DA4 should she live. She and Mythal are central characters to the mostly hidden overreaching plot that is slowly starting to reveal itself. At the VERY least we should get a solid answer to whether she is alive or dead.
But I agree that Solas or Yavana carrying on the plot would be enough. Flemeth doesn't HAVE to appear just as Morrigan was absent from DA2 but just like Leliana, Sandal and Bodahn(Who should have been in Inquisition, this is A MAJOR OVERSIGHT!!!!) she is one of those characters that is an essential ingredient that gives DA games their extra kick. That one tradition that remains the same no matter how the actual holiday changes over time. In my opinion.

I hope not and that they finish that plot finally in dlc ,so we can move on to something new instead push the same thing since first game.
I believe that's what they are doing as I believe the next DLC involves telling the end of the Inquistions story whether it involves Solas or not I'm not 100% suer but I think it's very likely based on what I've read. As for when it comes out though is anyone's guess as i can't find any info on that. i have to admit though I'm curious to find out. Especially if it's out in time before I do my next playthrough of the game.

And even more hopefully he falls into a volcano, while falling he is decapitated before simultaneously falling through a over sized cheese grater and being impaled on a stalactite.
If they give the death option, honor the death option.

I believe that Morrigan will be in DA4 but Solas' story will be resolved in upcoming DLCs.

Wow! so much hate for Solas, are you sure you don't want to hire a Terminator team and drop a nuke upon him?

Seheron and Rivain together or Nevarra and starkhaven for DA2 plot like.
The Teviner Imperium or the Anderfels for DA:O/DA:I plot like, if you fancy another apocalypse in Thedas.
I wonder in what nation kal-sharok will be, it certainly look like it is in the Anderfels, yet they have the longest alliance with the imperium.

I think that what ever happens in future Inquisition DLC, Solas would go out with a bang or have some pivotal role to play in setting the events for DA4. There is a lot of potential for the direction his character could take. Either way, I look forward to seeing more of him.

Of course not. You don't live as long as her and reincarnate like her and get taken out like THAT. I'm waiting for Flemeth to invoke those ominous words she did along the lines of: "I never possessed my daughters. They always gave up their bodies willingly."
Between Morrigan and Flemeth, my money is on this event being something that leaves Morrigan's demise more than Flemeth's.
