I almost finished ME1 fresh playthrough without a love interest. Since it was a renegade playthrough I was thinking of choosing Uldina as a human council. Did anyone try doing that? From what I've seen in ME2 Captain Anderson is not very happy to be a council and needs Uldina to "push things through". I thought maybe Uldina turned out to be a better council. Any tips?

Nope, apparently he hasn't got humans interests at heart but his own and Anderson is miserable no matter what you do.
I'm not sure if he allows you to be a spectre (in title only) he didn't if you made him chairman.
